Because he said that he need not testify against any man because he knew what was in a man.

Secondly he said the flesh profits nothing, and that he words he spoke were about the spirit which gives life. Which he communicated in parables about the spirit.

He said the kingdom was within, so all words he said must be understood in spirit not the flesh.

Jesus never said anything! Prove me wrong! Hint: words on paper are not proof of speech.

His mission was focused on salvation through universal love.
Universal love isn't hetero-sexual physical love.

It's quite obvious that most people don't need to be taught
to have sexual attractions, as that is already instinctual.

Whatever is instinctual in humans is pre-ordained and elementary.

It's our problematic higher functions that need cultivating,
and balancing. A harmonious society is impossible without
universal love and respect of all pre-ordained varieties of
its members.

There were very strict class divisions in the ancient world
and among these jealousies and hatred could flame up into violence.
