If they're closer to 4 sure. But early 3s not so much. Your kids and grand-kids don't compare to the scores I've cared for over the years.

If yours did, then kudos to you but many kids don't have a ton of nurturing at home. He was allowed to sneak off to begin with which tells me his parents weren't that attentive.

Big dogs are often named, Bear due to the resemblance to bears.

LOL no, kids know what a dog is.
 Quoting: Tars Tarkas, Jr.

He called it a purple bear.

There are no purple animals that I can call up in my memory besides maybe in Australia..and I think it is a marmot.

Maybe it was a djinn. They are fabled to be blue. 1dunno1

Cool thread either way. Fun to consider.
 Quoting: Seer777

Purple mammals are pretty rare, the only two I can think of are the purple-necked wallaby in Australia the blesbok of Africa and the malabar giant squirrel of India.

Re: BIGFOOT: Experts* Are Theorising That The ‘Bear’ That Saved A Lost Child Was Bigfoot
bigfoot move through higher dimensions and have far greater sensory perceptions

quantum and telepathic as well as very connected to all

it is said they like the shining ones which makes sense regarding the young child and age limit referenced by other posters - the younger the person, the less programming and the more connected/open they still are; therefore, the more they shine to those with eyes to see...like Bigfoot

it may be hard for the vast majority of ppl to make a connection with them (i.e., warrant Bigfoot's interest in a connection/communion), but to the pure of heart and mind and spirit, like say a fully realized individual (like the Buddha or Christ), the Bigfoot are encountered and engaged

I've felt them before in limited time in their environment, so I know I could make contact and some day soon we all will be able to

If the authors of that book dont find Jesus in it, maybe you shouldnt either, especially since you dont understand it for what it plainly is, and is not.

As bear researcher Chris Servheen from the University of Montana unambiguously told The Guardian, “I’ve never known such a thing to happen, bears don’t do that.” We can all agree that it is surely miraculous that little Casey survived, but we must also all agree that it is pretty unlikely that it was the friendship of a bear that allowed him to survive. Luckily, there is a very simple, very plausible explanation for how he managed to survive: Bigfoot.

He is right.

Bears don't do that.

Bigfoot doesn't either.

We have firm evidence that Bigfoot doesn't even exist.

The supposed Bigfoot DNA found has been shown to be bear DNA.

This story comes full circle and actually helps prove that there is no Bigfoot or Yeti.

======

Of the nine “yeti” samples, eight turned out to be from bears native to the area, the researchers report today in the Proceedings of the Royal Society B. The other sample came from a dog. Similar studies of hair samples supposedly related to North America’s big hairy hominid, the sasquatch (aka Bigfoot), have revealed that those fibers came from bears, horses, dogs, and a variety of other creatures—even a human.

No Bigfoot.
 Quoting: BilloutWest

Liar(or full of shit).
There have been a number of samples tested that came back as "Part Human and Part Primate". Many hair samples too that came back as undocumented species!

Countless stories of Military run-inns with the Sasquatch.
Army bases in Pacific NW even have official protocols on what to do if/when you encounter one.
The Government knows all about them but for their own reasons it all gets covered up.
Of course this is nothing new, all Native American tribes have stories about them that go back centuries(They viewed them as another tribe).

Too many people are hard headed, arrogant and this just continues the ignorance. Let me tell you, there are far worse(Dangerous) things in the woods than a Sasquatch.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 11787481

Arrogance abounds without evidence.

No DNA no Bigfoot.

Eat it:

Study finds that 'yeti' DNA belongs to bears:

[link to www.sciencemag.org (secure)]

(But science has not borne this out so far. Previous genetic analyses of a couple of hair samples collected in India and Bhutan suggested that one small stretch of their mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA)—the genetic material in a cell’s power-generating machinery that’s passed down only by females—resembled that of polar bears. That finding hinted that a previously unknown type of bear, possibly a hybrid between polar bears and brown bears, could be roaming the Himalayas, says Charlotte Lindqvist, an evolutionary biologist at the State University of New York in Buffalo.)

Meanwhile people want there to be a bigfoot so much they spout off without any evidence at all.

Maybe little Casey got diddled up the cornhole by Oxy-snorting Bubba from across the forest, his little psyche not being able to withstand the abject horrors of getting his little virgin sphincter violated, he just went into a dissociative state of mind and started fantasizing about a purple Bigfoot giving him food ... when all it was, was Bubba's veiny purple sausage ejaculating in Casey's little pie-hole.

Yes, really! So, we're expected to buy into the "scientific" approach and conclude that, because you don't have a clear photo, a DNA sample, or whatever, your encounter didn't happen. That's what they want us to conclude and then we will be welcomed in open arms into the arrogant scientific community. LOL

Some kids go missing forever. Adults too. Missing 411 covers some amazing stories. Very scary stuff.

I don't doubt there exists beings/entities of some kind that we have yet to identify in the mainstream, and they kidnap people maybe to eat them/use them for some purpose or another. Who knows...

I remember seeing a news clip of a child falling into the Gorilla exhibit and the female Gorilla protected the child from the other Gorillas until the zoo keepers could get to the child. So a female Bigfoot could have done the very same thing in this particular case.

Evidence? You don't know a thing about proving a claim. Testimony IS evidence and this phenomenon is exactly the type of situation where eyewitness testimony carries a lot of weight. Courts, every single day of the week, thousands of times every week, hear testimony alone without documentary evidence of any kind such as documents, DNA, or even video. They rely on the credibility of the witness and don't require such levels of evidence. If it's good enough for a judge, it's good enough for us.

Also, Gold Camp Trial between Old Colorado Springs and Cripple Creek is an excellent place to go. There has been many reports of sightings and footprints along the trail.

Re: BIGFOOT: Experts* Are Theorising That The ‘Bear’ That Saved A Lost Child Was Bigfoot

======

No Bigfoot.

You're wrong. Lol
There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true.

Re: BIGFOOT: Experts* Are Theorising That The ‘Bear’ That Saved A Lost Child Was Bigfoot
I fully believe bigfoot exsists and I also believe that they may treat children differently because they don’t get too scared and react with a threatening response. I have come to think they may live in the North American cave systems and that’s where a lot of the missing people go spoken of in missing 411. I think like people some may be more dangerous then others. I have thought a lot about this and think they draw people in by mimicking human sounds which people then follow into the woods deeper.

Never heard of missing 411 until I read this thread last night. I am now quite far down the rabbit hole. Anyone know anything along the same lines I need to watch?

I live in Eastern NC near were disappearance happen. That child would have never survived out side those nights without help from someone.

Children d some astonishing things. Look around for evidence that they may go into a reptilian parasympathetic state like hibernating animals,. The body adjusts for all kinds of conditions and a child might well survive hypothermia if it had the right instinct to snuggle under leaves against wind or frostbite.

A dreamlike trance like state might also explain very realistic dreams of bears bringing berries.

The psyche keeps a library, archaic knowledge. I’m not sure how it works but to me the images in the archives of the human paychxge that come in into our dreams are n extreme experiences are just as fascinating to me as Sasquatch in the woods.
