Re: Rumor: Royal funeral imminent
Was just reading about the 15 things that happen after this queen dies:

"When the Queen passes away, Prince Charles will make a speech in the evening and will be proclaimed King at 11 AM the next morning when he swears an oath known as the accession declaration.

Heralds will read a proclamation all over the city, there will be trumpets sounding, cannons will go off in a royal salute, and the flags will fly high again. Charles’ coronation won’t happen until after the mourning period, however."

The new king choses a new name:

"If you were expecting him to become King Charles, you could be mistaken. Reigning monarchs choose whatever name they like, and it might be different than what they’ve been called all along. For example, Queen Elizabeth’s father was called Prince Albert until he became King George VI."
 Quoting: FunnyStrange

Charles will most likely become George VII as king.

That's ridiculous! Does he think he's the pope or summat?

'King Charles' will serve him very well. He follows Charles I&II.

the queen has passed and operation london bridge has been activated.
>the heads of state has been contacted. The news of the passing has been trickling down. do not expect the news to come immediately to the public seeing that she passed outside of london.

So, they all got together for a casual lunch yesterday and then the queen dropped dead right after?

[link to www.harpersbazaar.com (secure)]

Actually, now that I have read the story again, all the family members were there - except Harry and his harpy bride.

I would be very surprised if the queen went before Phillip, but with everyone present, maybe it was a goodbye party for someone.

I would hope so, it’s so confusing in history when Kings and Queens change their names after taking the crown. Sometimes they even become king under a same name as one of their own brothers.

News of monarch Queen Elizabeth II’s death spread quickly earlier this week causing concern among fans across the world. However the August 2019 report has now been confirmed as a complete hoax and just the latest in a string of fake celebrity death reports. Thankfully, the 93-year-old monarch is alive and well.

UPDATE 24/08/2019 : This story seems to be false. (read more)

waitwhat

So the fact that it's a hoax is false??

I'm confused.

I’m serving British Military based in Scotland. She is in Balmoral in Aberdeenshire, my Unit is on UK Standby tasks which also encompasses taking on any tasks of an immediate member of the Royal family passes.

One of our Sister Units are guarding here, she is safe and sound.

Re: Rumor: Royal funeral imminent
It's funny how small a pool of acceptable names there seem to be for a British king.

John is out, probably Richard is out, I would think Charles is out - not much luck with that one.

Pretty much leaves George, Henry, William, Edward and possibly James.

They need some new names in there.

I have read that James is not a great pick either. There were too many weak kings named James.

For those who want to get very rich in betting on the next unexpected monarch and his unexpected regal name, watch this video carefully (turn off the sound if the voices annoy you, what is written is said and conversely):

Re: Rumor: Royal funeral imminent
A friend's dad served in the Navy during the Korean War years. Phillip inspected the ship he was stationed on 3 times. The 3rd time, friends dad says Phillip stopped in front of him and said something to the effect that "this is the third time I see you, are they working you too hard?" Friend's dad mumbled "no sir" and said that Phil looked him straight in the eyes, he felt like something had him suspended in time. He says that this is the only time in his life he felt like he was in the presence of evil. Maybe just a tall tale about the war, but the old man wasn't the kind of guy to make shit up.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 30776013

Now this is interesting.
It means that philip has "it."

I live in a building with a bloodline.
This is exactly what they do.

But it's only a local phenomenon, which is why they need courtiers and counselors--human proxies--to carry out their orders.

I've seen intelligent, educated healthy young people become frightened as well as very nasty to those seen as a challenge to the bloodline. Or they are silenced. The tribe is not as susceptible, but they only work for themselves.

Some are literally possessed.

Ah, inspecting the troops.
Now you know why they do this.

They also change laws all the time.
"The state v. you."

"L'etat, c'est moi."

The sprightly cheerful one is the double. The real Queen is more of a sourpuss. She's hunched over and wears drab colors. It was her photographed getting out of the Range Rover at Balmoral a few days ago. Supposedly the real Queen spends time inside with Phillip (who may or not be alive at this point). If the lady looks more like Princess Anne, it's the real Queen. The double is who you see walking around with crowds smiling in the bright colored coats. I don't think she is dead yet, but Charles is looking unhealthy lately. At any rate, he won't have a long reign.

What's the deal with Edward's kids? The girl is cross-eyed and the boy didn't come to church with the rest of his family. We all know Edward is gay but they could have found a rent a bride with some good genetics.

I thought she showed up in church this morning. In a car with Wills and Kate.

Harry and MeAgain weren't invited. The spin was that Harry hasn't shown up for the Balmoral summer visits in years because he says it's boring.
