You reminded me of something, I was in Portland years ago, riding the light train, and getting pissed off that the announcements were in Spanish, telling the non English speakers that the door was opening.

I kept listening to it and trying to talk myself out of being pissed, because what kind of Spanish speaking moran can't at least learn a few basic words of English, I knew enough 7th grade Spanish to understand what the announcements were, it's only a few basic words, wouldn't you have bothered to learn a couple of English words by the time you got all the way to Portland, Oregon, USA?

Anyway I ended up taking comfort in the fact that they left out the Spanish announcement for "The door is closing". They only had that in English. So I thought, okay, someone's going to get pinched in the door, I can stop being bothered about this now. Anyway that's how I didn't let it ruin my day :-)
