I have lived and worked in Beijing and I can tell you there is nothing Marxist or communist about the PRC economy. It's not even socialist. They don't even provide healthcare for poor people, like Medicaid would. China did have Marxist roots 60 years ago, but it's now just single party oligarchy capitalism, pure and simple. Marxism and communism was a failed experiment and there is no truly communist country in the world today. You are speaking in philosophy of monies and economics I'm speaking in Philosophy of freedom and independence and seemingly so are the protestors, they are walking away from their jobs to protest.
