Not really sure why you are licking MGKs foot all the time, but this video is wildly untrue. You claim his song "killshot" didn't do what it was intended to, yet it did. If you listened to it at all he stated that it would give him more publicity/views/etc if he did diss him and then people would slowly forget. He did exactly that with the track. He hasn't been as popular until they had that little feud (which is now over so I don't get this video's relevancy anymore)and then hasn't been that popular since. Eminem is still crazy relevant in the industry and his recent album 'kamikaze' went platinum proves just that. His fan base has grown on spotify and youtube in the past 6 months (making him top 5 on spotify and youtube since I last checked; in terms of subscribers), while MGK is struggling even with his new release selling 56k so far (it's still early yet though I'll give him that break). That's hardly "king" material, haha. MGK isn't at his caliber yet in terms of rhyme schemes, metaphors, lyrics, or vocabulary. I'm not saying it's not possible because Eminem has to die at some point, but to say MGK is king right now is so soooo untrue that it's laughable. There are so many other artists that are above him right now besides Eminem though. If you like his music that's fine though haha just dont lie about his popularity. That doesn't help him rise to the top anymore because it all depends on what he brings to the table. He may be talked about more at this moment because he just released a new album which happens to any artist in the first few weeks. That's simply called marketing mah dude. |

Ja rule broke feminem's back [link to www.youtube.com (secure)] He never recovered from this song. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 76953597 Ja RULE? In the early 2000s Ja Rule was probably the hottest rapper in the country. Often compared to tupac shakur and DMX (both who are considered as untouchable in the true, black rap community), Ja rule made singing in Rap cool and basically created the modern art of it. Ja rule was a pioneer like Rakim. Rakim's lyrical content was average at best, but his style, flow and technique completely changed the game. Rap was never the same after him. Ja rule is the same way. People like Drake exist because of Ja rule. With all that said, 50 Cent, Dr. Dre, and Eminem eventually got into it with Ja rule. Long story short, Ja rule was under investigation from the federalis and was unable to respond. Until this song. In 2:46 Ja rule took on Eminem, Busta Rhymes, 50 Cent and a couple others solo and DESTROYED THEM. He exposed Dr. Dre taking transvestites home, Eminem's cultural appropriation in 'acting black', and other completely unanswered barbs. Eminem was psychologically so negatively affected by just this one song, because of his line about Hailie at the end, that he was uanble to respond on his own diss track and left if up to Busta rhymes and D-12. But none of them had any response for him and are all widely considered to have LOST that rap battle. Ja rule basically destroyed their careers in rap except for eminems. But even he completely lost credibility. When Ja rule released the album "blood in my eye" which was also an extended diss track to eminem, 50 and that crew, he remained unanswered. Why? Because he had Khadafi on his album, Khadafi was one of Tupac's best friends and having him appear lets you know which side Tupac would've been on. Eminem's loser suburb white fans are the only ones who claim that Em won that. Because they want to elevate some white guy to being the best rapper. Its a form of forced inclusion. So they pretend like he's undefeated and just hope to ignore this song and 'blood in my eye'. Instead of dealing with the actual songs, they use lame jokes and ridicule. "Ja rule lol". That's the only response they have. |

I think he might actually be a few bricks short of a bbq. These videos he makes about rap battles have no place on GLP. It's the weirdest shit ever and needs to stop. |
