Doctors magazines are the worst! Dentists too. I never see mags on shooting, parachuting, experimental aircraft and motorcycles. Just boring shit about people.

I haven't seen an MD other than socially since I was required to have a physical for a job at age 20. A half century later, I have "medicare part A" for free and don't even know where my card is. So far, so good.

I fail to see what an MD can do for me except fill out the death certificate.

Physicians made a concerted effort not to have magazine in the waiting room as that spreads disease. Nobody should touch any shared magazines in a room full of sick people. Use your brain.

My old family practice doc back in the seventies had Bibles and Field and Stream.

I agree he is needed. But until he can heal a physically broken body we still need doctors. Just use them wisely.

I honestly never gave it much thought when I went to see a pediatrician as a kid. He was very good doctor and that was all that mattered to mom. I never thought I was special for going to see a pediatrician.
