I wonder what that comes from? And I'm not thinking about an answer like, oh it's just choice. I'm thinking what's behind, because it's everywhere. Families too. I wonder what it does to the children seeing their mothers dress like that. And as well acting younger than age. I can only compare with my own mother, who wouldn't dream about it and was very adult like. I have a feeling I would have been more unstable if it was the opposite, and probably the view of women as well. It's not just young people. As late as today in the clothe store who actually sell nice decent clothes not dressed off, one woman in probably her 40ies came in, with family, dressed too tight too short. Showing it all. She only bought clothes for the small kids. I had a feeling she didn't fit in there, and I'm not saying it because of any judgement. She was clearly malplaced. All the demeanor, everything.. |

I was just like.. Why.. Why.. What's the problem with dressing NICE, AND modest? Myself.. I bought a autumn winter coat.. Bright red.. Classic style.. Some fur on collar but not too much.. Belt.. And black pumps.. Block heels.. Decent heels not too much. And black top with trousers. |

I think part of this is because the fashion nowadays is basically to wear almost nothing at all (almost impossible to find bathers that cover your bum for example). So by comparison, women may even think they are being conservative in their clothing choices. |
