Was the “unknown light” on January 25-6, 1938 the sign Our Lady of Fatima was speaking about?

We know of the aurora borealis back then but what is the “unknown light”? Is it something that can’t be explained? Like is there a light shining on the dark side of the earth during a new moon? There were so many things happening in 1938 too in Europe. Idk..
