Long but very worth it.

I tried this for two nights and it does seems to work. I feel much better even though I only got 4 hours of sleep, but it was deep restorative quality sleep.

Way too much info to summarize, but taking vitamin D at night gives you a very deep sleep that is needed for the body to repair itself and restores healthy gut bacteria. You also need to take B vitamins because the body uses them up to repair.

Talks about sleep apnea and chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, etc.

I've never been a sleeper. 6 hours would be a good average for good sleep for me. Like since I was 12 years old or so.

You can take 40,000 IU's with calcium, lots of water for 7 to 10 days as an antibiotic....and it works.

It will sure cause confusion, false ideas, and give a very untrue "perception" of God. It's a shame - and a sin, which leads one to hell, a place they don't believe in, apparently. I don't think nutritional supplements are going to be of any assistance for this poor, addled person.

You are correct to be careful with Vitamin D. Also Vitamin A and E need caution - those three are fat soluble, meaning the excess stays in the body, and can cause serious trouble. Research amounts appropriate to your size, age, etc.

The other vitamins, such as C, B, etc, are water-soluble, meaning any excess goes out in the urine.

If low on Vitamin D, take it whenever. But I don't see what it has to do with sleep or why Vitamins B or K2 or coconut oil or whatever come into play.

OP, do you take D at night and B in the morning, or do you take them together? You could give a little more info.

I am only on day 5 but I take the D at night and the B complex in the morning. I see a difference in sleep, energy level, eyesight and alertness.
Colors appear brighter, vision is crisper and I can read smaller font from farther away. And I've been having dreams again. I had been sleeping OK I thought but now it's more restorative and I just move more easily.
I wouldn't have guessed I was deficient in Vitamin D because I like being outside.

Doesn't really matter the timing of the day to take vitamin D supplement but 1000 IU is too low. I generally go 5000 a day in the fall and spring and 10,000IU a day in the winter. Not so much in the summer because I'm outside all day long without sunblock lotion.

You would benefit taking Magnesium like ZMA before bed though.

To get quality sleep... Take a shower, no electronic device (TV, computer, iphone, etc) 1 hour before bed time, read a fiction book to relax your brain. The hardest part.... absolutely no alcohol 3 hours before sleep. I could tell a big difference in the quality of sleep. Could not get a deep quality sleep if you even drink one glass of wine right before bedtime.

I've always taken D but in the morning. For the past 2 weeks I've taken D with K2 before bed and am sleeping somewhat better, even having dreams like another poster mentioned.
