Now there is a massive black ball of field lines jamming up the magnetotail. Smilie pending top of page 3 by Xenophon 2:55am
Ok 2:56 and it’s past. Magnetotail and magnetic field returning to normal.
These past two hours were really quite something. Here’s the smilie, thanks again Xenophon!
Possibility the images are result of bad data fed into simulator model due to cosmic rays hitting satellites but.........I don’t know.......

week. We are in for it (we sensitives, that is) the coming
week into Labor Day due to TWO coronal holes earth facing
that are going to give us a GOOD WACK! sO...hold on you

I remember BPEarthwatch explaining how to CONVERT the
UTC Time to your own U.S.A. TIME ZONE. He says you take
the UTC Time on the graph and COUNT BACKWARDS 6 hours.
This will give Eastern Standard Time. From there you should
know your approximate time of day with respect to your
locale and the East coast...for me in MT I just go back
another 2 hours for my time. If this is off a bit, at least
that gives you something to play with!
