What's an easier way to give a cat a bath? I put him the sink and used the sprayer and water. But, he acted like he was dying screaming for help. HAHA Water wasn't to hot or cold. Quoting: Diabolical. But, when I take a bath and hand wash him outside while he's sitting there he likes it. lol Fill the tub with water deep enough to go under your cat's belly. Test temp with your elbow. Should be warm and cozy. Get all your stuff togeth and then bring him in. Start singing. Preferably in a very high pitched cartoonish voice. Any little kid ditty. I liked the, "Singing in the bathtub, wooohooo, scrubbing in the tuuuuub, watching all my twoubles, just rolling down the dwain." It is very distracting for your kitty and drowns out the initial cries but a firm grip (across the front shoulders), that let's him no he's in good hands will set him at ease as you suds in a very professional massage type manner. It instills confidence. I've never had a cat that even scratched me, and most like having a pitcher handy for rinsing down close to the body. Then lift out with a towel. After a few minutes of manual toweling, let your kitty shake a few times. I stay in the bathroom for a bit to make sure all the excess is gone before moving into the bedroom for a blow dry. |

You have to be able to hose it off, lol like in the shower ~With forethought and malice Whitless enacted an EO giving nursing homes immunity from wrongful death prosecutions, forced them to take in infected patients and is responsible for over 6500+ nursing home deaths~ |

Yeah the excess was a pain. I pretty much finished him off by spraying him on the countertop. lol He kept trying to run away and he was like screaming HELP, and the dog didn't help him. HAHA Didn't even come to his rescue. Wonder if their still friends now. ;p Thanks. Last he fell in the bathtub. lol He didn't like that. He didn't scratch me. He was just screaming his lungs out. HELP. That's what it sounded like. I will try that next time when I give him a bath. |

HELP. That's what it sounded like. I will try that next time when I give him a bath. Well, I see that I left out a crucial part. You drain the water out while still holding him and as the level drops you take the paws one at a time and kind of squeegee the water off each of them and then if the rest of the water is out you can squeegee the back legs too. Once you've kind of wrung him out pretty thoroughly, then you lift him out in the towel and usually that's when they start really getting into it. The tousling around and all. But, yeah you've got to get everything prepped in advance of a cat or dog bath within easy reach water ready and all before you bring him in. After a few times he won't mind. Mine liked it and the blow dry too. You have to hold it farther away from your animal than you do from your head. Their skin is more sensitive than your scalp is to temperatures. But, cool settings are TOO cool to use. |

Carnac User ID: 76010295 United States 08/24/2019 01:26 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | As soon as you get the grease on your clothing, put straight Dawn on the spot, add hot water and then either use a scrub brush, or scrub the clothing by hand. You might have to repeat it a couple of times. I have a small scrub brush handy that I use for the spots on clothes. If you don't have Dawn, buy a laundry bar. I find that the bar laundry soap and a scrub brush will take out most stains.Rub the wet laundry bar directly on the spot, put hot water on it, and use the scrub brush.Rinse the spot with hot water. If it looks like the spot is still there, but faded, repeat. Hmmmm. What a novel idea... I just hop online and order a new shirt. Have a nice day = GFY. GFY = Go Fuck Yourself. If this offends you then have a nice day. |
