And they taste good too. The dwarf ones are wonderful back yard livestock / clean meat supply material. Always need at least two though - they need companions & don't do well solo. So, 3 females or 2 females & a wether (neutered male) are good. Alternate getting the females pregnant every 9 months or so and you will almost always have one giving milk. Only drawback to that is you really have to be committed to milking her every single day. If you can't make that commitment, then don't get them pregnant. Just get a pair of weaned kids every year and grow them up to processing size and put them in the freezer.
