A huge bottle of Jack Daniels. Made here in Lynchburg TN. I refuse to buy toxic cheap Chinese shit that ends up in our landfill way before it should. Wean yourself off of the cheap Chinese’s shit. You will have more cash for the important stuff. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 77823082 United States 08/25/2019 11:40 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | NOTHING. ZERO. ZIP. To the contrary, I'm in the process of selling everything I own and moving. People are buying it up in droves. Nobody in their right mind buys new things anymore. This is why the economic numbers are so bad. People are hip to the hype now. Our debt driven society is coming to a close. The question is not where it's going (I think most folks here know where we are headed), but the vacuum/void that will exist in between. Rough times ahead. I'm just thankful to have grown up during better times... |

Louis in Richmond That is my arm now; broken for 7 months User ID: 75526818 United States 08/25/2019 11:52 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Does nobody on GLP buy clothes? I don't see any money put aside for clothing/shoes on anyone's budget plans here? I spend at least 100 a month on clothing or shoes and i'm on welfare Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77488423 clothing, HOAs, health costs (aside from insurance), gifts, auto upkeep/repair, household upkeep/repair, entertainment & vacations, school, daycare... There are a lot of miscellaneous expenses which people are not accounting for, but you know they have. That is one of the reasons why so many people are in debt. They only budget for the big things and then the unforeseen expenses happen and they borrow money. The key is to pay your savings first, and then budget, and you budget for everything possibility so that you always have the money at hand to pay when the refrigerator goes out or the transmission drops from that used car you bought. I include clothes in the random spending part of my budget...it goes in thee same pile as going on vacation or buying a soda. But I guess it's because I consider clothes shopping to be more fun than necessary. I hate Walmart personally. Last needed purchases: Thrift Store porcelain crab cooking pot. Crab hooks and baskets for harvesting. Nets, fishing poles and tackle for river use. The hooks, baskets, and fishing gear probably was made in China but for beginners, $29 for a fishing pole beats $200 to $600 for a custom one built at a shop in the NC Outer Banks. Thrift store toaster oven. Thrift store clothing. Until your military service has required you neutralize enemy combatants and invaders in the defense of your country, don't presume to tell us that have defended you that you don't support every shot we fired to eliminate that enemy. |

I noticed the heat of the sun was the only thing which helped with my problem, so I decided to buy an ir lamp. And, it's absolutely friggin' genius. Btw, I just took a pic of it.
