Just now catching up to loggin' on this a.m. Went over to thread you referenced, Miss C, and dropped this comment.

Call it 'divine timing,' or whatever but I just finished 3rd book in series by one of NC's favorite authors William Forstchen, The Final Day. This novel is all about 2 yrs after EMP fries half the world, including USA, and how the power vacuum that is left in the aftermath results in hard truths.

Following excerpt is near towards end of the book but stood out to me as to how Patriots who took an oath to protect our Constitution feel and will act accordingly because there are still those who stand on the Watch Towers of truth.

To frame the scenario, a major general in US Army discovers hard truths, makes a moral decision and goes on airwaves reaching across the world to make good his Oath.

"Until 2 days ago, I diligently followed orders, believing that the entity located in Bluemont that claimed it was the government of the US was a legitimate government. I no longer believe so, and that is why I am making this broadcast now.

Several days ago, I was made aware of 2 actions by those who claim to be the government - one a crime of unsurpassed magnitude on what so many of us now call 'the Day,' the other a crime of nearly equal magnitude that same government was planning to commit within the next 48 hrs.
