People killed by Hurricane Dorian are ‘being loaded on flatbed trucks across Abaco

He added that people in Great Bahama are in “serious distress” as Dorian settled on top of the island with sustained winds topping out at 145 mph.

The Bahamas Press tweeted a photo of what it said were deceased hurricane victims being loaded on flatbed trucks across Abaco and repeated Minnis’s five-person death toll but said there would undoubtedly be more.

“Sources on the ground tell us bodies are being collected all across Abaco this afternoon,” the Bahamas Press said. “We believe there are more.”
