To those addicted to GLP...

I've been coming to this website for 15yrs or since it's inception. A lot of things have changed and a lot of people have come and gone. I too have almost been totally consumed by this website (Aussie Bloke started it for me).

From Cataclysmic Earthquakes, Earth ending Volcanic eruption, Economic collapse, Solar flare, Asteroid\Comet Impact, Planet X return, Alien Invasion, Super hurricanes, NWO\Illuminati Agenda, Politics, Wars, .etc......

I've learned over the years how to filter the BS and how to walk away and take a break (because it can consume you if you let it). More on how I tamed my addiction below.

This website at its heart is a Breaking News, Mega DOOM 24/7 at any MOMENT!! like no other site on the Internet...

BAR NONE!!

It's Internet CRACK! DOOM porn on steroids!! I think the big hook of this place (at least for me) is: FOMN

Fear Of Missing News!!

Since News breaks here usually hrs sometime days before anywhere else, I find myself constantly checking to see what's new, if I missed something. ADDICTED like no other and loved it!!

Want to know what true addiction is??

Having absolutely no programming experience (NONE!) whatsoever I took a online course 'How to Program in Python'exclusively just so I could write a program that would automatically check GLP (at intervals I set) and notify me via e-mail if there was breaking news (2000 users online or more).

This was how I was able to break my addiction of constantly checking. Now instead of constantly checking every couple of hrs I only check every couple of days unless my GLP Alert program notifies me of more than 2000 users online which indicates 99% of the time something MAJOR is Happening somewhere around the world.

Just a tip to Trinity, might be a value to your paying members and GLP if you added a feature like that in which your members would be notified via email if online users reached a certain amount(maybe they could sign up for the service).

Just a thought?
