WOW!! Cell phones of all carriers having tons of problems.

My 4G Tracfone phone has slowed to a crawl the past few months, I don't know if it has anything to do with what's on that downdetector website. Everytime I click an icon it takes like 10 seconds for the screen to change.

The conspiratard in me is thinking that it's done so that people will clamor for "faster" 5G...

I use cell data ... century sucks. But even Sprint glitched a few times today and said it couldn’t activate data.

Wow. I was just thinking after reading op about prior to 9/11 all news station's clocks were wound back 2 to 3 minutes which gave time to do the CGI layer compositing of planes on "live" footage.

My WiFi became painfully slow so I rebooted the cellular router.

That's usually not a big deal, only when it came up I now have an Arlington, VA IP address, not one in central Virginia.

Something appears to be up with BGP routing tonight.

Holy shit... literally had the same problem with my LTE on Verizon. Ran multiple speed tests and was only getting 1Mbps down. Even chatted with Verizon chat support and they "sent a signal" which fixed my connection. Hmmm.

We all do have a very large target on our backs, but I'll not allow my words to be diminished by it.

Maybe a factory reset? If its Android.
Android is based on Linux, and nothing in the world infuriates a Linux kernel like running out of storage for the virtual memory.
