CO2 is required for the environment and LIFE on earth. If youve fallen for the CO2 is poison line you should revisit chemistry and biology.

Or celebrities....all the plastic in their boobs, butts, lips etc makes them prime candidates

If this mutated and could destroy any plastic, it would be the end of modern civilization.

Nothing to se here. First step to dissolve plastic into enzyme would be expensive enough. Remember why plastic is nuisance in the first place: it’s difficult to break down in normal condition.

While CO2 has nothing to do climate change, like the eugenists try to fool everybody; high concentration of CO2 is poisonous. There is too much plastic to be recycled, enough to produce such dangerous amount of CO2.

Wonder what would happen if this got introduced into an ethylene pipeline feedstock?

Plastic-eating bacteria already exists and has for a long time. The natural version just doesn't work as fast as the one they engineered.

I know firsthand about this natural bacteria because it exists in Panama and keeps destroying anything I have that's made of plastic.

My plastic lids are a good example. Over time they go from being flexible/bendable to being really stiff and brittle, until they finally shatter into small pieces then turn into dust.

Those spongy eyeshadow applicators are clearly made of some kind of plastic too. After a while, I can gently squeeze the little sponge between my fingertips, and it turns into dust as well. I have to use brushes instead.

Students, really? How many millions of dollars have been allocated to big business to research and create this, over how many years, for the good of the planet?

Release these bacteria into a Saltwater reef aquarium and watch the whole tank crash and die over a few days.
