WHERE do you get that crazy idea? Florida and Texas are the only large states that protect one's homestead from these types of medical bill liens. People's houses are liened and foreclosed upon for medical bill every day of the week in most states all over the US. Either have: *Good medical insurance *Have nothing so you can declare bankruptcy *Live in Florida or Texas if you want to protect your house from medical liens (though they can grab almost anything else you own even in those two states) |

What a sad story...they are careful not to mention that Obamycare led to increased costs they added onto patients because insurance did not continue covering certain medical procedures. Why? That is the point. No one has really in details explained why things went up that were covered before. I know. My brother had something done and has full coverage but still ended up getting a bill. Everyone I have talked to in the last 4 years that experienced a major medical emergency---has said they ended up paying more than they ever have. Back in the past having insurance they never received a bill. Just paid the premium which was way affordable and the co-pay which also was reasonable. Someone/some company/some entity 'I feel' is getting rich off of this and no one is doing anything about it. I just have a bad feeling about this... Living has taught me one thing; nothing is certain...except salvation through Jesus Christ! |
