Please don't refer to Canada as health care Utopia

It was laughable to see Bernie declare Canada as health care Utopia.

Middle class Canadians are taxed 40% to support our socialist agenda.

If you need a doctor urgently, you need to wait min 5 hours in a walk-in clinic to see a health care provider.

If you need to see a specialist, you need to wait min. 6 months waiting list.

If you need a family doctor, you can sign up on an 1 year waiting list.

Let's crunch some numbers:

A person with a $50k annual salary will be taxes up to 26%. therefore $13k in taxes and taking home $37k. Wait for it...That is just the Federal taxes. We also pay Provincial taxes: brackets varies depending on Provinces. Add-on Sales taxes on every purchases (clothes, goods, etc). The average Canadian bring home $30-25k net a year.

Are you ready to pay $25k EVERY year in order to benefit from government run system that you "May or May not" need?

Personally, our family is blessed to be in good health and did not need to see a doctor. We also enjoyed stable employment as we are hard workers; therefore not needing unemployment support. We did not need to use any government services to the past 43 years (you pay income taxes when you start working).

This means that I have been paying more than 1 million in income taxes over the past 43 years for services in order to "support" those who refuse or are not able to contribute to our society. Would have preferred that money to be waiting for me when I retire, but alas...

The grass is not always greener on the other side of the fence...

If you want Big government, be prepared to be taxed. Money does not grow on trees. Funding for these government services will come out of the contributors pocket. AKA = You.
