Attacked by a Blue Hair (verbally)

Backing out of my parking space, a Blue haired SJW screams at me. "You just gonna back out like you own the place? I got my kid back here!"

They were about 15 feet from the back of my car. I look at the kid, feeling sorry for him. They were in the middle of the road, where no one with any sense walks, and I honestly didn't see them when I began to back out. This was at a local supermarket by the way.

I let my window down, "sorry lady, but maybe you should teach him not to walk in the middle of the road"

She goes nuts, starts cursing calling me a mf, screaming like a hog.

I tell her to shut up, which enraged her even more. Apparently no one has ever told her that!

I drive away thinking how I would've felt when I was 8 if my mom acted like that. He's probably gender confused too.

My question for you guys, was I in the wrong here? I guess I feel a little bad about not seeing them in the first place, and antagonizing her so she used that kind of language.
