Is there any people in the car industry that I can talk to about a new electric vehicle design that charges itself?

Is there any people in the car industry that I can talk to about a new electric vehicle design that charges itself?
I have a conceptual design that will be as large as a full size SUV, can be made in multiple ways (suv and pickup-though the self charge will be limited in non-suv style), and charges itself using a series of prototype concepts. I would like to talk to someone in the industry to see if their company would like to buy the rights to my design.

I know many people frequent GLP and I am hoping that someone could open some doors that seem out of reach from a regular joe. I am a backyard inventor and every time I try to get a project going I seem to run in to a wall concerning finding the proper people to talk to.

This does not self-charge and requires a stationary outside power source.

The only thing that would be required input would be regular part maintenance equivalent to current gas, diesel, and electric designs.

One guy did electrolysis, splitting the two parts 02 & H and adding the Hydrogen into the fuel, was getting about 53 miles / gallon on 97% octane base in a V8.

The other I will have to think about, the one above disappeared.

This would require regular maintenance including, but not limited to, oiling components prone to friction.

The concept also utilizes a new brake system, which will be able to HELP charge the vehicle in town, but on the freeway would be able to self-charge and run continuously after reaching a speed of 55 or more MPH.

This could revolutionize the trucking industry at the least, as one of the main expenses is fuel and time(of stopping to refuel).

1. First, you have to patent the idea.
2. Secondly, you have to be able to afford litigation if someone steals your patent (this can run in the millions of dollars and take a decade).
3. If you can't get in touch with SOMEONE in the auto sector with a PATENTED EV design that is somehow self-charging, then you probably should do none of the above.

If you talk to anyone about this without a confidentiality agreement signed, you can forget about a patent. That's what the patent attorney told me.

You and I have similar ideas, so far I've gotten nowhere, some drawings.

Proof of concept, even if it's a scale model or spare parts thrown together. It just has to be working.

Would love to hear your ideas.

More of a concept than theoretical as it relies on laws of physics that have been proven, such as lenz law.

Not free energy unless you are moving.
In town, the battery would not be completing a charge cycle, but on the free way it would. There is really no way to hook this type of machine to a grid and get energy unless you were constantly going to the freeway to recharge the battery, coming back after it is charged, then returning home to plug it in to suck the charge from the vehicle, the cost effectiveness is not really cohesive to your desired effect, which would be "free energy." It is also not a "perpetual motion machine" as it, as previously stated, requires regular maintenance like you current look at with your current gas/diesel/electric operated vehicle. Things would be much cheaper in terms of fuel but the cost of replacement parts could be high, and most likely in some cases higher than a current vehicle (unless appropriate contracts are made for import/mining/production of the rare earth metals needed).

Re: Is there any people in the car industry that I can talk to about a new electric vehicle design that charges itself?
OP...I was in the auto industry as a tier one suppler for a long time and can tell you whats up...

1) Forget the patent...the protection is not there and you are basically disclosing your technology. Believe me, large corps could care less as you cant afford the cost of DEFENDING your patent. Without that you have NOTHING.

2) If your tech is DISRUPTIVE...ie, its implementation will cause established businesses loss of revenue or some other financial pain, they will crush you. If you are willing to identify a company that might benefit from your tech...you could get 10K or so to teach them and walk away. They wont sign NDAs and they wont license your tech. Not gonna happen.

3) If you want to know how the players do it, go to Zero hedge and read the article WEWORK...IS IT A FRAUD?

Bottom line...no one wants your tech BUT there is a huge market for an IDEA that can be floated...promoted and sold to hedge funds and others looking to PUMP AND DUMP.

Legit biz ain't the way to go anymore.
