OP...I was in the auto industry as a tier one suppler for a long time and can tell you whats up...

1) Forget the patent...the protection is not there and you are basically disclosing your technology. Believe me, large corps could care less as you cant afford the cost of DEFENDING your patent. Without that you have NOTHING.

2) If your tech is DISRUPTIVE...ie, its implementation will cause established businesses loss of revenue or some other financial pain, they will crush you. If you are willing to identify a company that might benefit from your tech...you could get 10K or so to teach them and walk away. They wont sign NDAs and they wont license your tech. Not gonna happen.

3) If you want to know how the players do it, go to Zero hedge and read the article WEWORK...IS IT A FRAUD?

Bottom line...no one wants your tech BUT there is a huge market for an IDEA that can be floated...promoted and sold to hedge funds and others looking to PUMP AND DUMP.

Legit biz ain't the way to go anymore.
