....heh, I sang Feelin' Groovy solo in one of my high school choir programs. I was only 14 and scared to death, but I pulled it off!


Also, this is the second thing in a few days that has reminded me I've always - at my core - been like this, that I've always been ME. The other was a poem a friend wrote about me for a young man who wanted to marry me, but I wasn't doing it.


It's nice to be at least consistent, even when I'm constantly changing....

Littlepixie, I love Bowie, too. I miss him, even though I didn't know him. He and Prince exiting left big holes in the human landscape here.

Heh, I crank this song really LOUD in my car when I'm driving alone. The bass is kickass on a good stereo. The song is something else....and so was David Bowie.

I'm home for a few minutes to fix lunch before heading back to the hospital. I believed the Mrs. was having a checkup, but today turned into surgery for a 100% blockage in the artery to her right leg.

She's unconscious at the hospital and I'm worn out and just want her to be well.

Thank you Newton's Own! I believe she will eventually be recovered. We're getting her medical intervention whereas her dad did not get it when he got this and died from it, so we're ahead of the game.

Louis, what is the Mrs' favorite animal? i ask because i seldom pray, but when i do, i do in my own strange way

a while back, that other day, you spoke of hearing messages, in a particular case across grocery aisles, and i wanted to say that as far back as i can remember when finding no one there when i looked or someone different than who i heard, if i could rewind time i'd tell myself to laugh it all off as absurd...

before i understood was a bit too late, it became force of habit to shut out what would always gravitate to a dark side of the spectrum, but thankfully fell short of closing off all doors of extra-sensory perception

just thought then after you posted and still now that you might like to know it helps, knowing in some way one's not alone

and that maybe finally since first showing my name in 2013, some might like to know the deeper meaning behind the association to my little tree's first feline companion

Thank you deafcat, I'm back to the hospital and she has awakened. Though I knew, I asked anyway to be sure: her favorite animal is the cat.

We've pictures of her with leopards and other wild cats at an animal rescue.

I've always tried to remain open, never fearing as a child and now as an adult wishing I was much more perceptive to what remains largely unseen around us.

Thank you for your prayers for her, I know they really do work. From Matthew 18:20 "For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” Your kind words are comforting in a difficult time and I thank you again.

Thank you cosmicgypsy. I had been thinking of you often this past week. I guess I do get quiet on here when life happens. I brought a laptop back to the hospital with me so I can keep up with friends and news.

I know you're beside yourself, lovey....I wish I could hold your hand for awhile.

You're not alone there, are you? Any family or friends you can call or have called?

How long is she going to have to be in the hospital?....I hope not too long.

Both you and she are right in the forefront of my mind. I love you both.

Actually it's just us here. I really don't have relatives near nor does she. My living ones really aren't the type of people I would want to associate with anyway though.

She will be leaving today, they are really good with surgeries here. She needs to see the doc again in two weeks as she has an 80% blockage in her other leg which may clear by then or need surgery to remove.

You're special to us too, the Mrs. enjoyed 'music night' in this thread a few weeks ago very much and I've found a like, loved soul in you as well.

Please, if you will, tell the Mrs. I actually have named her....I think of her as "Blossom," and will refer to her that way from now on. She does have lovely energy....you both do.

I'm so glad she gets to go home. Hospitals are no place for one to get rest. Plus, I know you are going to take better care of her than could just about anyone else.

It's been an exhausting thirteen hours. I bought some fried chicken so I wouldn't feel pressured to cook, but still bought items to make sausage, egg, and cheese burritos which I can make enmass and freeze for future meals and my breakfast tomorrow.

Yummmmmm....fried chicken....


When Blossom gets up, play this for her....it always reminds me of how as long as we keep dancing and making joy happen, we're making the "dark man"....heh, uneasy.

We can't let them take our joy all away from us, ya know?

I certainly shall. She has fallen asleep watching The Curse of Oak Island so I'll let her rest for now.

That name actually fits her quite well.

The cats were protesting because I won't let them out now that it is dark and it was about to be when we arrived home.

I fed them and the outdoor cat and told our indoor / outdoor cats that mama would let them out tomorrow morning when the sun is back up.

That's great news, Louis! I am hoping for the best!

I know! I kinda have a knack for giving appropriate names....

I "know" her from a looong time ago....she is a soul sister, at the least.

Her energy brings the BIGGEST smile to my face, brother-man. She's a gem.

I see why and how you could love her so much....you're a lucky man, as well as a good one.

Being human, especially in the shape we're in, is very hard, lovey....

I think it might be harder on those of us who've come back here, from a soul group form, ON PURPOSE...WHEN WE DID NOT HAVE TO...living "like this," in these *sniff* bodies. I've struggled with my body for my entire life...heh, I have a much better handle on my emotions and my psyche.

It's hard falling, lovey. We have to do things here that we'd never do otherwise, outside of this realm. Being alive "like this" is a huge compromise for our soul integrity.

We've had to do what we consider horrible things, just to survive....we've HAD to cultivate what we think are bad emotional habits to survive, and anyone unlike us?....they won't understand how hard we take those things we've done. We beat ourselves up worse than anyone else ever could....because ancient soul in THIS body, in this form.

I dunno, maybe you've done some unspeakable types of things....like murder, or thievery, or being a drug pusher....but I'm doubting it.

Part of life, of any kind of life, is learning that we need to forgive ourselves, and then we have to learn how to do that.

We already, at our cores, know how to do that. Tap into yourself, lovey....your forgiveness awaits you.

But we do the best we can, with what we got.

You are amazing.

Because, you know what, Louis?.....we both recently got the same message, "Time is short."


You NEED to take care of any guilt, regret, anger....all of those base emotional pratfalls, before there is no time left...and you have to take that with you, packed too tight in your consciousness backpack, when you leave.

I know you really don't want to do that, lovey....
