Thanks for the pin!
The magnetic field lines and the flux of those lines is not a constant and can not be calculated or shown with any consistency. The earth's core is not a fixed bar magnet.
Quoting: DeplorableOldMan I know, but there is first and foremost too much inconsistensy and contradiction in the media's and physicists'
statements about this, especially when considered that this has been deadly to many species in the past. The Neanderthals during the Laschamp excursion come to mind, and the North-American megafauna during the Younger Dryas extinction. There are traces in geology and other sciences going all the way back through the late Pleistocene, telling us that something has been happening again and again. They are either hiding something, or they are sloppy in their methods. I doubt that it's the latter, because these are clever people.
Check out this Youtube-series and discover what I refer to.
He's one of several pointing these issues out lately.
I don't remember which exact episode he talks about the geological evidence with scorched strata and peculiar fossils, but it's all on his channel.
Personally I disagree a bit with his micronova-theory and the "mile"-high tsunamis, but I have no basis to reject it yet, he knows his stuff. Very much worth a look.
