A Simple Plan that could fix the immigration problems

The US should authorize their embassies around the world to collect applicants biometric data and issue a worker id number and card allowing non citizens, to enter the US to work, collect taxes and social security on their labor, access the services those taxes pay into and have the same employment protections as a citizen, but would not allow them to vote or be counted as full citizens of the United States.

Over the course of a year to maybe three years, with constant employment, the paying of taxes and a clean criminal record, the card holders should then could be added to a fast track path to citizenship.

On the other hand if they are not employed, not paying their taxes, abusing services or they are engaged in criminal activities, their worker id number can be transferred over to their prison id number, they can then be incarcerated, deported and their bio metric markers can be bared permanently from entrance, work, education and citizenship in the United States.

The worker id would allow for hard working good people around the world to come and help build up the nation and weed out those who come in only to abuse and tear down the nation.

It is not a perfect system by any means, but it would weed out the good honest, hard working immigrants out of the masses croming illegally into the United States.
