i don't know, why would the army get involved in people watching this movie as a potential threat, and to look for exits in case of incels shooting up a theatre and to "run if you can" “If you’re stuck, hide, and stay quiet. except they actually carry m16s. ar15s are not military rifles. and the army doesn't use hollow point bullets. they use full metal jacket. because the army using hollow point would be a war crime

The AR platform is pretty much identical to the military version, except the action is only semi-auto (like most other rifles). Military versions have full-auto & 3-round bursts. The barrel can be changed out to accomodate different calibers, but the majority sold in the US are for 223 & 556 cartridges. Military uses Nato rounds.
