You need to read Psalms 2, son.

While you are at it, read Hebrews 1, and John 1, and 1st John 5.

No apology necessary - you were answering the question posed.

John 17 shows us that Jesus was WITH the Father in the beginning.

5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

The Genesis 1:26 verse of "Let Us make man in OUR image" - seems to show that Jesus was with the Father at the earliest stages of creation. NO other "being" except the Son OF God would qualify as part of the "US".

The Son of God sits ar the Father's Right Hand. He is the heir to all of existence - all that the Father had set into motion at the beginning.

Finally, Jesus is the Perfect Son to the Holiness of Father God. Jesus does ONLY the Father's perfect will.

John 6

38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.

39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

I'll be honest.

In your case, I'm glad that you agree with the Pharisees, and believe that Christ was (and is) a blasphemer.

You BELONG with the Pharisees. The very people that Christ had the BIGGEST issue with, while he was on earth.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78098425

No I think the people with whom he had the biggest issue, and who definitely had huge issues regarding him, were the Sadducees.
They were sad-you-see because they didn't believe in the resurrection, unlike Lazarus' sister Martha, quote: “I know he will rise in the resurrection on the last day.” (John 11:20-24)
They were "the Rich Man", busily "joining house to house", evicting widows and orphans, loudly affirming, "We have no King but Caesar " !
-And were determined to kill BOTH Jesus and Lazarus with word spreading like wildfire how Lazarus had heard and obeyed Jesus' command to come out of his tomb after 4 days within, and they were terrified that if the people got any more stirred-up "the Romans will come and take away our 'kingdom'"!
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77505643

I was speaking of the religious "leaders" of the day, in general.

Not smoking anything, Jehovah's Witness wannabe.

You call Christ a liar and a blasphemer. The Pharisees wanted him put to death for claiming to be God, and you agree with the Pharisees, that Christ was (is ) a blasphemer.

You will get the chance to rub elbows with your Pharisee buddies. You have demonstrated the exact same spirit, all the years you've been posting on GLP.

You're in for a hell (no pun intended) of a surprise, son.

Very crucial part you seem to be overlooking.
This might enlighten you but I doubt it.
Verse 19 says, “The Son can do nothing of his own accord, but only what he sees the Father doing.” So when verse 22 says, “The Father judges no one, but has given all judgment to the Son,” it can’t mean the Son doesn’t see the Father judging but goes ahead and judges anyway. And John 3:36 says clearly that if you don’t believe in Jesus, “the wrath of God remains on him.” That is, God does judge.
So I take verse 22 to mean: “The Father judges no one [on his own].” The Father doesn’t go off on his own, without any reference to the Son, and judge the world. He judges no one like that. Another thing verse 22 seems to mean is that the Son, not the Father, is the frontline, historical criterion of who comes into judgment. That’s the point of verse 23: “Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.” In other words, whether God is dishonored with the effect that judgment falls is determined by the frontline, historical person of Jesus. If people honor him for who he really is, then God the Father is honored for who he really is. So in that sense, all judgment is given to the Son. What people make of him decides their final judgment. But that’s because what they make of him is what they make of God.

So it seems to me that the part of verse 22 (“The Father judges no one, but has given all judgment to the Son”) means the Father is not the frontline, historical criterion of judgment, but is in perfect step with the Son’s judgment because the one who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father.

Or his earlier judgement still remains upon them from standard already set when he rested from creation, saying it was "good".
So I take verse 22 to mean: “The Father judges no one [on his own].” The Father doesn’t go off on his own, without any reference to the Son, and judge the world. He judges no one like that. Yes if ppl honor him for who he really is, then God the Father is honored for who he really is. But the words , "who he really is" , don't really in themselves define who he really is.

"It is appointed to man once to die, and after that a judgement" - [of a thousand years.]

God considered the "Judges" a gift, and they were, but not properly appreciated at all. :

"God GAVE them Judges for about 450 years until Samuel the prophet"

Then they started saying they wanted a king , "like everyone else in the surrounding nations has"!

Israel Demands a King
Samuel 8
…6But when they said, “Give us a king to judge us,” their demand was displeasing in the sight of Samuel; so he prayed to the LORD.

7And the LORD said to Samuel, “Listen to the voice of the people in all that they say to you, for it is not you they have rejected, but they have rejected Me as their king.

8Just as they have done from the day I brought them up out of Egypt until this day, forsaking Me and serving other gods, so they are doing to you.…

Ellicott's Commentary for English Readers
(7) Hearken unto the voice of the people.--The words spoken to Samuel, probably in a vision, by the Most High are very touching and very sad. Very touching, in their extreme tenderness to the noble old man. Take courage, they seem to say, "my old true servant, and be not dismayed at this apparently bitter proof of the ingratitude of the people you loved so well. This deliberate complaint on the part of Israel is directed not against you, the judge, but against Me, the invisible King. They have ever been the same--incapable of becoming my true subjects, and of winning on earth the lofty position I would have given them; you must give them now their hearts' desire. It has all been foreseen and provided for; only make them understand what they are asking. Then give them their earthly king." Very sad, for it was the deliberate abandonment by the Eternal God of His first intention as regarded Israel--the deliberate lowering of the grand ideal once formed for His chosen people. Here, as is not unfrequent in the Divine records, we have a corner of the veil which hangs between the creature and the Creator lifted for a moment. We see how sadly possible it is for man in the exercise of his perfect freewill to mar the glorious work arranged for him by his God. We see too in the records of such a transaction as this (see Deuteronomy 17:14) how all was foreseen by the King of heaven, and we catch sight of the sorrowful regret--if we may use the term--of the Creator for the perverse folly of His creatures.

It's the Father's Will that Jesus does - NOT His own. John 6:37-39

So that means that Jesus will judge according to the Father's Rules.

AND...the point is that the Father is the giver of the "power" to judge.

John 5:22 The Father judges no one, but has given all judgment to the Son

Another reference verse. Matthew 28:18 - power over heaven and earth was given to Jesus - BY the Father.

Isaiah 61 King James Version (KJV)
61 The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.

4 And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.

5 And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the alien shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers.

6 But ye shall be named the Priests of the Lord: men shall call you the Ministers of our God: ye shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory shall ye boast yourselves.

7 For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them.

8 For I the Lord love judgment, I hate robbery for burnt offering; and I will direct their work in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.

9 And their seed shall be known among the Gentiles, and their offspring among the people: all that see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed which the Lord hath blessed.

10 I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.

11 For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.

Isaiah 11 King James Version (KJV)
11 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:

2 And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord;

3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:

4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth: with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.

5 And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.

6 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.

7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.

8 And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den.

9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.

10 And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.

11 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.

12 And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.

13 The envy also of Ephraim shall depart, and the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off: Ephraim shall not envy Judah, and Judah shall not vex Ephraim.

14 But they shall fly upon the shoulders of the Philistines toward the west; they shall spoil them of the east together: they shall lay their hand upon Edom and Moab; and the children of Ammon shall obey them.

15 And the Lord shall utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea; and with his mighty wind shall he shake his hand over the river, and shall smite it in the seven streams, and make men go over dryshod.

16 And there shall be an highway for the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria; like as it was to Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt.

26 And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.

27 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.

28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.

29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

30 And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book:

31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

Re: Jesus is God
The term Alpha and Omega comes from the phrase "I am Alpha and Omega" (Koiné Greek: "ἐγώ εἰμι τὸ Ἄλφα καὶ τὸ Ὦ"), an appellation of Jesus[2] in the Book of Revelation (verses 1:8, 21:6, and 22:13). The first part of this phrase ("I am the Alpha and Omega") is first found in Chapter 1 verse 8 ("1:8"), and is found in every manuscript of Revelation that has 1:8. Several later manuscripts repeat "I am the Alpha and Omega" in 1:11 too, but do not receive support here from most of the oldest manuscripts, including the Alexandrine, Sinaitic, and Codex Ephraemi Rescriptus. It is, therefore, omitted in some modern translations. Scholar Robert Young stated, with regard to "I am the Alpha and Omega" in 1:11, the "oldest [manuscripts] omit" it.[3]

A similar reference is in Isaiah 44[4][5], where the Lord says to be the first and the one who is after all.

Rabbinic literature, the word emet (אמת meaning "truth"), one of the names of God in Judaism, has been interpreted as consisting of the first, middle, and final letters of the Hebrew alphabet.

The Qur'an gives al'Awwal (الأول), meaning "The First" and al'Akhir (الآخر), meaning "The Last" as two of the names of God: 57:3.

Alpha (Α) and omega (Ω) are the first and last letters, respectively, of the classical (Ionic) Greek alphabet. Thus, the phrase "I am the alpha and the omega" is further clarified with the additional phrase, "the beginning and the end" in Revelation 21:6, 22:13. The first and last letters of the Greek alphabet were used because the book of Revelation is in the New Testament, which was originally written in Greek.

This phrase is interpreted by many Christians[according to whom?] to mean that Jesus has existed for all eternity or that God is eternal. Though many commentators and dictionaries ascribe the title "the alpha and the omega" to both God and to Christ,[6] some secular sources argue otherwise. Barnes' Notes on the New Testament (1974) claims: "It cannot be absolutely certain that the writer meant to refer to the Lord Jesus specifically here ... There is no real incongruity in supposing, also, that the writer here meant to refer to God as such."[7] Most Christian denominations also teach that the title applies to both Jesus and his Father.

The letters Alpha and Omega, in juxtaposition, are often used as a Christian visual symbol (see examples). The symbols were used in early Christianity and appear in the Roman catacombs. The letters were shown hanging from the arms of the cross in Early Christian art, and some crux gemmata, jeweled crosses in precious metal, have formed letters hanging in this way, called pendilia; for example, in the Asturian coat of arms, which is based upon the Asturian Victory Cross. In fact, despite always being in Greek, the letters became more common in Western than Eastern Orthodox Christian art. They are often shown to the left and right of Christ's head, sometimes within his halo, where they take the place of the Christogram used in Orthodox art.

Matthew 22 King James Version (KJV)
22 And Jesus answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said,

2 The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son,

3 And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come.

4 Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage.

5 But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise:

6 And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them.

7 But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.

8 Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy.

9 Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage.

10 So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests.

11 And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment:

12 And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.

13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

14 For many are called, but few are chosen.

15 Then went the Pharisees, and took counsel how they might entangle him in his talk.

16 And they sent out unto him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Master, we know that thou art true, and teachest the way of God in truth, neither carest thou for any man: for thou regardest not the person of men.

17 Tell us therefore, What thinkest thou? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not?

18 But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, Why tempt ye me, ye hypocrites?

19 Shew me the tribute money. And they brought unto him a penny.

20 And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription?

21 They say unto him, Caesar's. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's.

22 When they had heard these words, they marvelled, and left him, and went their way.

23 The same day came to him the Sadducees, which say that there is no resurrection, and asked him,

24 Saying, Master, Moses said, If a man die, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.

25 Now there were with us seven brethren: and the first, when he had married a wife, deceased, and, having no issue, left his wife unto his brother:

26 Likewise the second also, and the third, unto the seventh.

27 And last of all the woman died also.

28 Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her.

29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.

30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.

31 But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying,

32 I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.

33 And when the multitude heard this, they were astonished at his doctrine.

34 But when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, they were gathered together.

35 Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying,

36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?

37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

38 This is the first and great commandment.

39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

41 While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them,

42 Saying, What think ye of Christ? whose son is he? They say unto him, The son of David.

43 He saith unto them, How then doth David in spirit call him Lord, saying,

44 The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool?

45 If David then call him Lord, how is he his son?

46 And no man was able to answer him a word, neither durst any man from that day forth ask him any more questions.

Elohai
Elohai or Elohei ("My God") is a form of Elohim along with the first-person singular pronoun enclitic. It appears in the names "God of Abraham" (Elohai Avraham); "God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob" (Elohai Avraham, Elohai Yitzchak ve Elohai Yaʿaqov); and "God of Sarah, Rebecca, Leah, and Rachel" (Elohai Sara, Elohai Rivka, Elohai Leah ve Elohai Rakhel).

John 8:58 King James Version (KJV)
58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
Matthew 22:32 King James Version (KJV)
32 I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.

UTTER gnostic gnonsense.

Jesus doesn't say "I am who (that) I am".

His use of the phrase "I am" is uniqueness as the only-begotten son of God

Here's MORE times Jesus used the phrase "I am".

Mark 14:61-62

61 But he held his peace, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked him, and said unto him, Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?

62 And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

Luke 22

70 Then said they all, Art thou then the Son of God? And he said unto them, Ye say that I am.

John 10:36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?
I am a humble Servant of the one True Living God.

It's ironic that you post Matthew 22:32 COMPLETELY out of context.

Jesus is quoting Father God in that verse - NOT making a declaration that He HIMSELF is Father God. The proof of that is what Jesus says in verse 31.

31 But as touching the resurrection of
the dead, have ye not read that which
was
spoken unto you by God, saying,

32 "I am the God of Abraham, and the
God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?"

God is not the God of the dead, but of
the living.

In John 8:58, Jesus is declaring 2 things.

1. He existed BEFORE Abraham.

2. Being THE actual Son OF God, He is totally unique - being created by the "I AM THAT I AM".

99% of the verses I post are from the KJV.

It's a good Bible but NOT a "perfect translation" - which doesn't exist.

I celebrate no pagan holidays - even those "masked" by the RCC centuries ago.

Talmud is mostly garbage.

Re: Jesus is God
The Aramaic was the language of the time there.
The Talmud is used by MANY people in this world.

The reason is the more ancient Egyptian
Greek, etc. texts which the Biblical accounts
mirror, only with different names. Waddaya do?
