Liar. More lies by the pharmaceutical shill that is the op. Cannabis calms people down and helps them achieve peace. It increases empathy for their fellow human beings and all life. It is a gift from God and earth to help people with their animal selves.

Op is an evil troll.

I think most people start drugs because they have psychotic thoughts and want to quiet them. So we have a "chicken and egg" thing going on here.

Just like alcohol

Cannabis is NOT SAFE for everyone

Until you have a young friend that had a psychotic breakdown after smoking cannabis regularly for a short time

STFU

It happens

Then they call them schizo

But without cannibis

They are normal responsible functioning adults

Explain !

And those of you that partake without harm - go for it

Well.. all I know OP, is that you are very right.

My middle son, age 36, who has smoked weed for 20 years, is at this time in the midst of a psychotic breakdown, complete with severe delusions etc.

During the times he has been a bit more clear-thinking, he has agreed to go to the ER. And both times they told him they will not admit him for detox until/unless he is a danger to himself or others.

To my knowledge he is no longer smoking weed in any form. The delusions and withdrawals etc is not only making him crazy, it's tearing our whole family apart.

It feels like we're waiting for the train wreck we know is coming any minute now.

Only since its so readily available have this many re-fucking-tards come out of the woodwork!
Of course crazy people self medicate! Of course crazy people mix crazy meds with alcohol and weed and other drugs. EVERYONE is crazy! With or without weed!

Has it ever occurred to anyone that maybe weed was made legal by a super natural loving kind God who doesn't want people to suffer 24/7?. With these bastards ruining every nook and cranny of our world? Huh? Yes. God doesn't want us to lose hope. Weed doesn't give hope but it makes hell a tad more bearable.

Follow the supply chain.

Chernobyl planted cannabis all over to absorb the radiation from the nuclear disaster, they then dried the leaves and sold this cannabis to the stupid Americans.

The CIA has gotta get their money somehow.. Geeze, do try to keep up.

BTW, you do know that Chernobyl is in Northern Ukraine?

He has a good job with insurance that would cover it. Except I don't know how long he will have that job for, he hasn't been going to work. :/ He thinks there is someone at work trying to kill him. (part of his delusional thinking).

The cops won't do anything until/unless he strikes out at someone. Evidently not thinking he's being a danger to himself at this point.

Ditto the ER docs at the only hospital in the area with a psych unit.

No matter that I and his brothers believe him to be.

And we cannot do anything else 'for' him until/unless he starts asking for help, calls the number himself for therapy/treatment. etc. Which I doubt that he will. Because he seems to be caught up in the delusions so much he's not thinking straight half the time. Too worried about whatever is in the attic about to come in and kill him. (ps.... they have no attic).

Correlation doesn't equal causation. That might be a little too much for you to understand. People who are predisposed to psychosis might also be predisposed to drug use.

Well, if it wasn't the cannabis, what else was it? It was her first and second time smoking it. My siblings grow it for a living so I know it's pure. Furthermore, she's been with me for a couple of years so I'm certain she's not on any other meds that could've interfeird. She despises taking anything pharmaceutical. She's been an RN for over 15 years, so she is responsible and I have no reason to doubt her.

So, there you go. Now, why did you attempt to insult my intelligence? Might it be because your argument is weak? Where's your evidence? Links? You make the claim that it's been debunked. You have zero idea of who I am and what I'm capable of understanding. At least I have anecdotal evidence. You have none.

Re: Cannabis use linked to a third of all psychosis cases
Omg NO ONE turns psycho from smoking a joint. Much less 1/3 of ppl!!!!
And I seriously don’t believe anyone smokes pot and turns crazy.
That’s ridiculous!
I have however seen ppl smoke fake pot. K2, spike, spice it’s the same and literally turn spaz. When 30 seconds earlier they told me they were smoking good old weed. That crap needs to go for good.
I think some parents or care givers get confused bc it looks the same. It’s easy to it can look the same at times.
If your teen or 20 something is going crazy chances are it’s NOT pot

Re: Cannabis use linked to a third of all psychosis cases
Super-strength cannabis flooding the streets of London is helping drive psychosis rates there to the highest levels recorded in Europe.

A major new study has found that smoking powerful strains like skunk every day made people five times more likely to develop mental health problems.

Nearly a third of cases recorded in south east London hospitals were linked to people smoking these powerful drugs, which now make up 94 per cent of the cannabis sold in the city.

Doctors warned that with hospitals already lacking resources for mental health provision, cannabis smoking was placing an enormous burden on the city’s strained psychiatric units.

Sending your son, you and your family my utmost positive thoughts and prayers my dear friend. It must be devastating to experience that happening. He for sure needs professional help, admission through his doctor or whatever.

As much as you want to help as a family, it will only put a bigger burden on all of you, without the needed outcome.
