Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77828388 Have you seen the movie with the kid that goes there and loses his mind? I cant remember the title off hand but its terrifying. Where the weak guy get stranded on his own from his two partners? Yes! That one. Jungle? or old skool at play at the fields of the lords or emerald forest ? It's not real old. I saw it a couple of years ago on Netflix. But yes, he gets abandoned by his two partners and sees people that don't exist. He loses his shit. |

He was telling me that the road was haunted, that many people nearly have accidents because a 3 year old boy(ghost) in a conductor outfit plays in the road and causes accidents. We nearly make it to his brothers house and we realize we forgot bread. Turn around. Make it to a hairpin curve when a squirrel runs into the road and sits there. My buddy casually moves into the oncoming laneto miss the squirrel, and out of nowhere (cornfields in all direction where visibility isn't limited whatsoever) an early 90s crown vic comes barreling through the turn so hard my buddy nearly put his ride in a deep ditch. I IMMEDIATELY look to the side mirror to make sure the geezer in the crown vic didn't wreck. There was no crown vic. There was no delay from incident to me checking the side mirror. Don't go into an abandoned mine, by yourself, alone, at night, in a storm. The End. I agree. The sheer horror of getting lost in there would be much worse than any ghost. you should watch the vid. I did watch 3/4's of it. Does something happen at the end? Imagine your cell phone dying in there and you were lost. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 53651439 That will make anyplace the most creepy real fast. My Grandpa who was another no nonsense southern guy told me a story not that long before he died. He was riding a motorcycle with another guy. This might have been the 1950's. More likely the 60's early 60's They pulled their bikes over on the side of the road to drink a beer and eat a sandwich. Very rural area in Indiana at the time. They saw a disc shaped object hover and land in a field. He looked at his buddy and said, "did you just see that?" The guy said, "It depends, if you are ever going to tell anyone then I didn't see it." At that time you could be locked up in a mental ward for reporting that. As an 85 year old man near death he says he still didn't know what it was. |

There was no crown vic. This is an interesting story. I know of a similar story involving a boy in a yellow shirt that died in a traffic accident in Gulfport, Ms. He supposedly stands on the corner of a treacherous curve on rainy nights and waives people down that are going too fast. Then he disappears. If it's real then he's quite the good Samaritan. |
