Hey, if a 5 year old autistic kid can get labeled a "sexual offender" for holding a classmate's hand or trying to give them a kiss on the cheek, why not let 8 year old children steer the fate of the country? I mean, I'm sure that the PARENTS of these children A) aren't influencing them at ALL, and B) TOTALLY let them make all of their own decisions.

I'm sure Mom and Dad will be more than happy to allow you as an 8 year old to smoke, or use cannabis, or have a couple of boilermakers after a hard day in grade school, right? Because at that age, they are mature and reasoned enough to make these kinds of judgement calls, re they not? After all, believing they can vote means believing they have the knowledge, forethought and wisdom to make the best decisions for the entire nation, and not just for their own childish reasons, or because Mom and Dad say this is a good idea.

These people don't want voters, they want multipliers. I might cast a conservative vote, having no children, while my whacked out neighbour will cast FOUR votes, having three children.
