I agree. Look no further than youtube for virtually every local cop's body cam to see their overblown sense of authority against civilians. For those who think that the military hasn't already had their egos stroked in preparation for acting against civilians is sadly mistaken. Will there be a certain % of the military and local law enforcement who will go against their orders? Sure, but not nearly enough.

The level self importance and authority that both military and local law enforcement have, is often immense and vastly underestimated. The Government in general, has done a damn fine job over the past couple of decades to groom anyone who carries a gun to literally feel that they are "above" the people they are supposed to be protecting.
