Many of us middle aged people remember. We were kids in school. It was what the teachers warned us about, also the media

And the weather, was it ever cold. We had snowdrifts up to the roof. You had to tunnel out the front door

The national guard had to airlift people stuck in their cars on the interstate. They were buried in snow

Yes, I believe Time magazine had an article on it.
I remember being in grade school and they were talking about the new ice age coming because pollution was causing the atmosphere to block out suns rays and prevent them from reaching the earth, causing the earth to cool.
It was the mantra for a while.

Today these same 'scientists' are screaming that the "Earth is on F'ng Fire!!"

Whatever they are told to say by TPTB, that's what they say.

It's all BS.

The communists with money have become smarter. Their followers not so much. Once they figured out that climate can get cool and can get hot, they went from global cooling to global warming to now, climate change. If climate is changing then we are screwed and must give our money and our freedom to communists. They should have started with climate change as it will always win.

Give these cocksuckers an inch and they will collapse a society. Give them prison for even attempting to steal our money and our freedoms.

Re: In the 70s, they scared all of us about global cooling
It's coming but they don't know for sure when.

Ice core samples

Tree ring samples

Ocean sediment samples

All indicate soon

They didn't factor in the 30 years warming 30 years cooling, repeat cycle; it was in cooling then. They did figure out how to use the 30 year warming part of the cycle to scare the public about global warming.

Be assured the ice age cometh. We need more moisture in the air so more snow can fall. That's happening. Underwater volcanos are causing the oceans to warm and increase evaporation.

Dear God, in the early 60's we used to duck under our desks, like that was going to save us from a nuke.

And yes, the ice age was coming. We were all going to be fighting the ice to survive.

I can't help but think mental terrorism is a staple in our society.

I remember that. When it failed to gain traction, they moved onto acid rain in the 80's. When that was proven to be a total hoax in the early 90's, it became, "The Greenhouse Effect." That was lifted right out of the movie Soylent Green.

Keeps a lot of university professors employed.

Today that has moved to elementary school teachers. If you have a kid in a public school today, you failed as a human.

Re: In the 70s, they scared all of us about global cooling
I remember a grade-school teachers telling the class something to the effect of, "Scientists say there's an ice-age every 15,000 years. The last ice-age was 15,000 years ago. So we are due for another one."

Sounded legit. Did it scare me? No. Was it suggested or insinuated that humans would be the cause of it? No. It was understood to be just a natural earth cycle that humans had no power over.

"Global cooling" or "climate change" were terms we never heard of back then.

On a related note, Greta jet-sets the world and is a mini-celebrity, thanks to her global warming agenda. So there's no benefit to her to become better educated and reconsider her belief in it.

Would you believe a lie, or at least push the agenda, in order to become a global jet-setter and a mini-celebrity?
