I would try taking a nattokinase supplement to lower blood pressure.

Nattokinase has the awesome added benefit of helping to prevent strokes by dissolving blood clots.

Interesting, first time hearing this! Thank you.

A low fat diet removes all the fatty sludge that's thickening your blood, slowing it's ability to flow and forces the heart to work harder moving it.

To see if it works, go on a juice fast (0% fat) for a few days and then check your pressure.

I have been doing the low carb / high-fat diet. I think you may be on to something...

I think I will try a low fat AND low carb diet...

Your body creates cholesterol on it's own regardless of what you eat.

The low carb diet is the key but you still need good fats for energy.

A life of too much carbs (sugar, bread, starches) wreck how your cells convert food to energy. Avoid these things because they spike insulin/blood sugar and that's what causes cellular or organ damage. Half of Americans are pre-diabetic and on the way to "insulin resistance" which is like the beginning of chronic metabolic imbalance and leads to organ problems and eventually early death. Notice how many diabetics have a crap load of other bad conditions?

A far as your cholesterol levels you want a good ratio with high HDL and low Triglycerides. The LDL levels don't be so concerned with and avoid dangerous statins.

Yes, I will stay with low carb, but will ditch the bad fats.. Even though I love them :)
