Potassium will lower blood pressure

Salt and potassium balance each other, so if eating high salt you waste potassium

We need 4700mg of potassium daily, eating high potassium foods is great, but often not enough

"No Salt" brand salt replacer is made from potassium

You can purchase bulk supplement potassium, important to measure, mixes with water

Potassium citrate, potassium bicarbonate, potassium chloride

Beans, beans, beans.....like lima, black eyed peas and garbanzo, they are a good source of potassium, and a great source of soluble fiber. Soluble fiber is good for you unlike regular fiber. Soluble fiber binds to toxic bile and removes it from the body. Without soluble fiber the bile recirculates and gets toxic and sludgy.

Intermittent fasting....simply at least 16 hours a day with no food, only water or black coffee. This time away from food allows the body time to repair and heal, reduces inflammation.

Do not eat spinach, it is very high in oxalates which are poison. The active ingriedient in Round up is a form of oxalate, oxalates destroy your gut biome, cause kidney stones and joint pain.

For the best information on soluble fiber look up Karen Hurd.

For the most current information on oxalates Trying Low Oxalates T L O is the best resource

Tons of information about intermittent fasting out there, but the secret is the clean fast, plain water or black coffee only, no flavors. Delay don't Deny is a great resource, lots of people healing all kinds of health issues. Dr. Fung is a good source as well.

Remember your Doctor is bound by standard of care. If your blood pressure is within a certain range they are required to suggest or prescribe meds, although some will let you try and reduce it with natural methods short term.

Good luck, wonderful you are researching this all before your appointment, as you are your best advocate.
