Here is a map of the possible areas that could face a power shutoff. They are remote, rural and rugged areas. [ link to www.sfgate.com (secure)] Cities, per se, are not affected. Some parts of San Jose are rural. I've read that, at most, 600,000 people could be affected. O' only 600k without food water a place to shit, no big A 'tard from South Africa telling me my local business! This forum is packed with clowns. I am so sick of the ignorance and hype. You'd better check your sources AGAIN, Sport! SFGate is quoting PG&E as saying up to 800,000 customers will be impacted... and not the maximum 600,000 you said in your post. Now what were your saying about IGNORANCE? When PGE talks about customers, you know they are referring to electric meters not people right? Some of those meters have more than one person living there. The electric company doesn't track habitation at the meters.
