Agreed.
Every voter ought to be able to get a watermarked “receipt” of sorts with a serial number on it so that they can verify their vote was accurately tallied in the event of a recount.
I would picture something like a perforated stub printed up with similar kinds of anti-counterfeiting measures as US currency is.
It wouldn’t be perfect...but at least it would be SOME measure for a voter to be able to self-verify in the event they wound up in a hotly contested state or district.
