I was only 11 when MTV first came out. I was thrilled. I can always tune to MTV and watch music videos if nothing else is good on TV. It was different back in those days. Chill with my school friends with HBO and showtime, MTV. Back in those days me and my elementary friends would be thrilled if we can stay late at night to watch R rated movies. See some tits. Now I watch Boy George's Chameleon on Youtube, But it does not feel the same. There is no thrill. Just bitter sweet memories.
