This "devil" is all the bad aspects of the collective god force... that the good aspects of the god force tries to separate it's self from... the more we deny that it's connected the less able we are to change it.

I think I would tempt the good god part to actually look at the bad devil part... in order to not encourage it to continue to grow stronger in the dark.

The good parts are often unaware that the bad parts were somehow created by them...

Somehow acknowledging it makes it less devilish?? ...and easier to dilute?? Perhaps??
