Many with cancer have used raw food diet to heal themselves and that should more accessible than gut rot foods!!! Quoting: Windy Hill Operator Yeah because you should totally wait until you're dying of stage 4 cancer before you start eating your fruits and veggies. acshually you should cut all sugar if you have cancer the caner uses the sugar like fuel. |

The guy was skinny as a stick, ate nothing but junk food for all I know and was a hell of a worker. Kinda off though.. Quoting: Archaic Smile To each their own. Everyone is different. We are a subject of our environment. America is bombarded with b.s. food ads that promote things that are not healthy, this enters the subconscious mind, and people wonder why they are unhealthy or fat 10 years later. I eat a mixed/balanced diet of fruits, vegetables, meats and everything inbetween. I avoid sugars and as much processed food as possible. The key to being healthy is trying to eat right as best you can, exercise, and sleep. If you are key on all these aspects your mental health will also be benefited. The key to health is low stress or at least being able to handle it. And lots of sleep. |

I've been reading about the PKD diet, Paleolithic Ketogenic Diet. It was developed in Hungary by doctors and scientists . they have treated over 4000 patients, including some with brain cancer, diabetes, chron's , etc., with great success. It's all meat and fat, you don't eat vegetables, sugars, processed foods. The difficult part is to get the necessary nutrition you need to eat lots of organ meats, liver brain, etc. |

Oxalates, phytic acids etc. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78065713 No thanks. You can have my vegetables. I remember back when I thought vegetables were good for me. I made a green smoothie with mega amounts of spinach. It gave me a huge boil on my arm. I'd never had a boil before in my life. That began my education on vegetables. Also, most of the vegetables you eat go undigested, so you're just wasting your money. Have you ever visited the restroom looked down and seen vegetables? Of course you have. That's your money going down the toilet. Have you ever visited the restroom, lookked down and seen meat or fish? No you haven't. was just studying up on oxalates. can't say i'm sad to not feel like i have to eat spinach and kale all the time. eye opener for sure. Cooking spinach neutralizes oxalates. Spinach needs a fat for the body to absorb the nutrients. That is why dairy with oxalate foods is good. It also helps to make sure the oxalates don’t hurt our body. Cream of spinach is great and cheese over broccoli and cauliflower is awesome. Cheese and cream with veggies is protective. |

Fruits should be your go to...and tptb knows this. typically a piece of fruit has as much sugar as a pepsi. so your wrong there. No. There is no raw fruit that has a higher sugar content than a can of Pepsi. Fruits have lower levels of fructose. Only the liver processes fructose, so the white sugar diet is hard on the liver. Vegetables are not over-rated. Nutritional education among the average American is almost nil. In comparison to Fruits...vegetables are indeed over rated. If humans are 97% dna matches to primates, then our diet should mimic theirs. Where do veggies fall on that list? Always second to fruits...but wtf do I know!!?? And im not talking about regional diets, Im talking strictly genetics. And for the dumb ass that thinks fruit sugar is as bad as Pepsi...omg you are a god damn lemming/moron.
