Many with cancer have used raw food diet to heal themselves and that should more accessible than gut rot foods!!! Quoting: Windy Hill Operator Yeah because you should totally wait until you're dying of stage 4 cancer before you start eating your fruits and veggies. acshually you should cut all sugar if you have cancer the caner uses the sugar like fuel. Without sugar cancer will use protein and fat for fuel. So it doesn’t matter if you cut out sugar. Maybe just do some fasting. |

It's always something deep fried (chicken strips), cheese pizza, or a hamburger, and the only sides are french fries or mac & cheese. Quoting: Renaissance Woman My child never ordered off the kids menu. No veggies, all fried, high-carb, high fat stuff. She was just as happy with an adult dinner with steak or chicken and a side or two of vegetables. My son is 9 and has never eaten from the kids menu. I always order and extra side or two items, and share my meal with him. Does not take much from your plate if you are making a serving for a child. Yeah let’s order chicken strips and fries for my kids. I don’t think so. And yes he has eaten a variety of different foods. More so then most adults. Good for you for realize this and not following the masses and ordering your child crap food. Bravo. You would be surprised most parents never have thought to improvise and feed their child something different besides what a restaurant believes is best for my child. That’s not their job, my job, my job. |

Jeff_43 User ID: 78057490 United States 10/09/2019 11:13 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Growing up Spinach was a no way never type food. Not even going to try it type food. However I found I love Spinach dip after my wife forced me to try it. My favorite Mexican dish is a Burrito with Spinach and threaded chicken I have tried things I do not like such as asparagus, beets and a few other things but I decided to at least try. One thing I have never learned to like is wine. I have tried it lots of times, cheap $5 a bottle to some that cost a $500 a bottle. No matter what it always tastes like Vinegar to me. I am not a big drinker of any type alcohol though. I may drink a mixed drink one or two times a year. and then prefer something with Tequila in it. I can count on one hand the number of times I have gotten what would be called drunk. All 3 of those times were 30+ years ago and I dd not enjoy them. |

However, dopamine & oxytocin production in the brain (the 2 mood stabilizers/boosters) are directly linked to the gut. In fact, in recent years researchers have discovered complex networks of neural tissue is the digestive tract which link directly to the brain. The ancient Greeks said the mind was rooted in our stomachs. Seems they were right. My diet may sound like a sacrifice to many of you, but trust me: once you feel explosive amounts of energy crackling through your body, once you have a mind as sharp as a razor blade, once you begin to feel like you did when you were 12 years old, your desire for "tasty" garbage will vanish. It's impossible to be happy in any meaningful way without your health. I'm like a spider-monkey on crack... I work circles around anyone & everyone, & my emotional state is always positive. The "sacrifice" is worth it. RAWR n stuff. |

Sounds unbelievable. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 5531479 i eat veg and my shits are not so great. Yes, healthy keto for ex, is undending veggies, especially the bitter greens and some of the others, Dr. Berg's keto not the extremist ones, and yet you can't eliminate your food. So its not veggies and fiber in veggies that allows elimination, its something about carbs and grains and fruit. And nature intended we eliminate in fact, major health problems occur including disease, when you don't. When you go back to healthier carbs, but your vegetable intake remains the same and protein, you've just added a flour and/or sugar/honey/molasses and fruit, suddenly you can eliminate properly. Then you have to ask, did Nature intend you to be constipated? Now you can improve that by B1, probiotics, Potassium/Magnesium, but not as much as carbs. In addition, thyroid requires glucose to convert the biochemicals into usable forms. So, while I was Keto, healthier when only doing Intermittent Fasting and a healthier carb, including weight loss, which halted altogether on Keto, which caused me to reduce food to the point of chest pains. Turns out my thyroid needs glucose but my insulin resistance liked keto, so I'm stuck in the middle and found out potatoes create insulin resistance for me, even home grown organic from our garden, and whole wheat bread. White occasionally or light rye which is white or white rice, does nothing for me and I can still maintain weight and not be insulin resistant. Also, while veggies and salads and bitter greens such as kale and broccoli are good for liver, they contain too many antinutrients so you have to be careful and research. My body does better on fruit most of the time. Some veggies, need quite a bit of protein. And without the carbs, or fruit and bread and cane sugar, honey, etc. I don't eliminate. Nor does my thyroid function. So learn to use balance, healthy and organic where possible. US organic is to be avoided. You need to find out what kind of organic the farm adheres to. Because in the US, legally you call anything grown without chemical fertilizers and grown in maneure "organic". But they can be chemically dipped afterwards. Whereas plants don't need maneure, they need nitrogren and don't care how they get the chemical nutrients, as long as you've built up your soil. But in order to be "organic" they need to be non gmo, and not chemically treated afterwards. Canada has far stricter rules on what is labeled organic than the US. So go past the label organic and go to whether its pesticide free, because in the US pesticide free and organic are not the same thing.
