I prefer the poetic beauty of KJV which has Christ Jesus Saying in Matt 7:23 "Depart from ME, you who work iniquity: I KNOW YOU NOT!"

Difference is pretty large between being a "worker of lawlessness" and "worker of iniquity".

Takes Father's Deliverance To BE Born-Again.
HIS Deliverance from our carnality, which Ezekiel cites in ch 36:26-27 as "Stony Heart".

Father's Born-Again Deliverance also Enables us to KNOW and DO HIS Will. So, this Ties-In with Matt 7:21 where Jesus Says HE ONLY KNOWS Those Who "DO The Will Of MY Father Which Art In Heaven."

Iniquity relates to carnality, or "this world". Jesus Gives HIS Witness of The Born-Again Life in John 17... Around verse 15 there, HE Says that HIS People Are NOT Of This World, just as HE Is NOT.


There's no way to not be carnal-hearted by your own effort.

Christ Says in John 14:6 "I Am The Way, The Truth and The Light; no man Comes Unto The Father but BY ME!"

Then there's John 3:7 "Marvel not that I Say unto you, Ye MUST Be Born-Again!"


Father-God Sent Christ to Bring The Gospel and Be Our Saviour and Redeemer. HIS Sacrifice on calvary Enabled Us To Come Into Father-God's Presence. The Father cannot look upon sin...


When we decide we can Trust God Fully with all we are and all we ever will be, we Come Unto HIM by our Leap Of Faith, our surrender of self and self-will and We Tell HIM. This manifests our heart Unto HIM. HE then Fulfills HIS Witness of Ezekiel 36:26-27:
26. A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
27. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.


God's Deliverance Gives us A New Heart OF HIS Flesh and Enables Us To KNOW and DO Father's Will and live life without sin.

We "die unto self" to Live our lives IN Father's Accord. Living By HIS Will rather than our own from then on. Living In Confidence without fear or anxiety...

Lester, stop w/ personal bubbling and concentrate on the written in the Bible. Salvation is about DOING what God´s will, not your beliefs.

To finish contrasting "lawlessness" with "iniquity" (iniquitousness) it comes back to Ezekiel 36:26-27

Before we're Born-Again, we are born into this world with the self-willed heart which Adam & Eve chose in the garden of Eden over living their lives In Accord With God.

Interesting to read John 3:1-20ish because it all relates to Nicodemus, a pharisee, and The Witness Jesus Gave him when Nic sought HIM out.

Jesus Tells Nic three times about being Born-Again. The third time, HE Says "Marvel not that I Say unto you, Ye MUST Be Born-Again!" John 3:7.... Nic still can't grasp the concept. Jesus Asks Nic, "Art thou a Master of Israel and yet knowest not of these things?"

Jesus is surprised Nic don't Know about Ezekiel 36:26-27 as God's Prophet Brought Word of what Father Wanted for the Hebrews, but of course, Father was rejected; or every Hebrew would have understoon Born-Again especially a pharisee like Nic.

What Jesus Witnesses to the Christians of Matt 7:22 who had Done Miracles, Cast-Out demons and Prophesied In HIS Name is "I KNOW YOU NOT" Because You're NOT Born-Again!


Father-God's Witness delivered By Ezekiel is that HE Will Give Us A New Heart Of HIS Flesh when we are Born-Again.

It is This New Heart Of HIS Flesh that transforms us - Delivers Us from being self-willed, iniquitous aka "workers of iniquity" (matt 7:23).

Father's Witness in verse 27 is that He Will Put HIS Spirit Within Us and Cause Us to Keep MY Statutes and Judgments. This is MORE than simply enabling us to no longer be "lawless" or practitioners of lawlessness...

Father's Witness in verse 27 is that HE Will Enable Us to KNOW and DO HIS Will and live our lives without sinning.

Thus, there is great difference between Being Delivered from our carnal "stony heart", (being Delivered from our iniquity) and being Delivered from "lawlessness".

Takes Being Born-Again, per Ezekiel 36:26-27 to Understand the difference.


So many "new versions" of The Bible. All written primarily to generate money and written by men/women who are NOT Themselves Ezekiel 36:26-27 Born-Agains. Not KNOWING God The Father, they look for synonyms to avoid copyright issues or stand-up to their effort to give The Bible "a new, fresh verbage".

This IS The Problem of Laodicea...
So many, a huge majority in-fact, of those who teach/preach/minister don't Know The Born-Again Life...


The Born-Again doesn't "need" The Bible...
Having Relationship With God The Father, and The Indwelling of God The Holy Spirit, as St. John Witnesses in 1st Epistle 2:20: "But you (Born-Agains) Have An Unction From The Holy One and KNOW All Things!"

It is The InDwelling of God The Holy Spirit that Gives Us Witness and Understanding of God's Word no matter which version we might read/consult...

Yet, to those not yet Born-Again, there will be confusion.
God Clears Up All Confusion when we Give HIM Our All and Make Our Surrender!


Christ Made The Way Unto The Father...
Up to us to walk it and Made Our Surrender.

My friend if you yourself were Ezekiel 36:26-27 Born-Again, you would Know that my witness does not involve "Belief(s)".

You would, yourself, Have Been Delivered from your Beliefs and Faithfulness BY The Father and Brought Into KNOWING HIM... KNOWING HIS Will For You and Enabled BY HIM To DO HIS Will.


I was Given To KNOW This, regarding "Salvation" over 15yrs ago as I was writing a witness: "Anyone who ever Loved Christ Jesus with a True heart, even if only as a child, will not be lost or condemned." God The Holy Spirit Gave this Witness to me; and I wrote it here...


Now, my witness has been to try and encourage Christians who Claim they Love Christ to Take Action by Coming Unto The Father and Prooving Their Love.

There is no Coming Unto The Father as result of Bible Study... In fact, most Christians who cite 2nd Timothy 2:15 "Study unto the approval of God", fail to realize St. Paul is adressing those who would teach/preach/minister and Paul Says in verse 6 that those "Ought First Be Partakers Of The Fruits", meaning Born-Agains...

Christ Witnesses in Matt 13:11-15 that HE's Not Interested in helping those who seek with their head rather than heart to "understand". In verse 15, HE Says if HE helped them understand, "they might be converted and then I should (have) to heal them."


Until you Trust God Fully and Take Action (Coming Unto The Father), there's no awareness, much less understanding of how rotten our carnality is within our alienation from God... But, make your Surrender, and Father Fixes You...

Not being lost or condemned is certainly a Great Blessing, but Christ Came To Enable Us To Be Born-Again and Live Our Lives In, With and Through God The Father.
