Kurds have killed a lot of Christians in the past.

Saladin was a fanatical Jihadi Kurd, who fought the Crusaders and expanded Islam in the Middle-East..

They hated Christians and Europeans in the past.

Its not our duty to help them get a country and prevent opression by their Muslim Turkish "brothers".

there is so much information and disinformation on

who the kurds are and were, many claim they are Christians

and Jevvs, many claim they are muslims.

Both Saddam Hussein and Turkey Killed them like they were

 Quoting: Jake

As a whole, the Kurdish people are adherents to a large number of different religions and creeds, perhaps constituting the most religiously diverse people of West Asia. Traditionally, Kurds have been known to take great liberties with their practices. This sentiment is reflected in the saying "Compared to the unbeliever, the Kurd is a Muslim".

all it it would take is one phone call to Iran. Just one, along with a written declaration.

'to the pres. of Iran, we are pulling out of the middle east completely. If you build nukes and make a credible threat to the U.S. we will warn you. If you launch just one nuke, we will immediately, without hesitation launch 250 nukes and turn your country to glass' . Our launch detectors will notify us within less than a second of your launch. Our missiles will reach you before yours ever gets close to the U.S. and we will shoot down any nuke you send. You will all die for nothing. All of you. Every last one of you. We will exterminate all Iranians'.

and ya know what? the Middle east will just continue to kill each other. AS THEY HAVE DONE FOR THOUSANDS OF YEARS.

EU demands Turkey halt Syria operation as NATO chief urges ‘restraint’
EU chief says political solution is only way to end the Syrian conflict; NATO calls for Turkey to avoid actions that may further destabilize the region

[link to www.timesofisrael.com (secure)]
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78039850

The PKK is on NATO’s terror list. Not all Kurds are great allies, some are radical leftwing communist wannabes.

Turkey is taking the most reasonable course to “ stabilize the region”.
Secure a buffer along its border and bust up the Syrian refugee camps that are ISIS recruiting grounds.

The EU is diddly squat in working a political solution to a civil conflict that predates it, and by refusing to take back its own deluded nationals who went to Syria to fight with ISIS.

If they want a “no fly zone “ over terrorist camps, let the Germans French and Dutch patrol it.

Practically none.

Other than the fact that Abraham had two women simultaneously, which gave rise to Isaac/Israel/Jevvs and Arabs/Ishmael/Islam, they are both independent religions.

Muslims will breed like rats, and expand with or without Jevvs.

Anyway Kurds were not doing the West a favor, they wanted US support for a country of their own. And America true to form did not help, since there was no business or oil to be acquired.

Trump is even more unreliable than the usual American, having thrown many people under the bus, including his two previous wives.

Thus the Kurds learned that the hard way!

corrected, Iranians are Shia

which are in minority in the middle east

Between 10% and 13% are Shia Muslims, and 87% to 90% are Sunni Muslims. ... One of the most crucial differences between Shia and Sunni Muslims is the importance that the Shiites give to Ali, whom the Sunni do not recognize as being the prophet's rightful successor.

Syria condemns hostile intentions of Turkish regime, affirms determination to confront aggression by all legitimate means

Damascus, SANA – Syria condemned in strongest terms the hostile intentions of the Turkish regime and the military build-up at the Syrian borders, affirming that they constitute an outrageous violation of the international law and renewing determination to confront the Turkish aggression by all legitimate means.

A source at the Foreign and Expatriates Ministry said in a statement to SANA on Wednesday that Syria condemns in strongest terms the reckless statements and hostile intentions of the Turkish regime and the military build-up at the Syrian borders which constitute an outrageous violation of the international law and a blatant breach of the International Security Council’s resolutions which affirm respecting Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Gods are not in charge. We are. The writers of the US Constitution changed the way of the world. In fact, they fully expected the Constitutional principles they proclaimed to go world wide in short order. They would too, if the general population of these backward, superstitious, primitive, tribal, areas were provided an education, and a choice. Only the educated, and enlightened can provide that for them. It is our duty to end violent superstition, and primitive tribal warfare. By force if necessary. Just like the founders of the US did. Of the people, for the people, by the people. As it should be. Womens rights, freedom to criticize anything you feel is worthy of it, religious freedom, all of it, they are natural rights of every living human primate we should stand willing to fight for. For anyone who wishes to build that sort of society in their corner of the world. We should be doing that. Not funding a theocracy that crucifies teenagers, and has a slave market in the town square. That is the opposite of the mentality we should be perpetuating.

Re: BREAKING: Syrian Kurds under bombardment from Turkish jets urgently request air support from U.S. and “No fly zone” to protect civilians.

Bit too late in the day for thr Kurds to DISSOCIATE from Islam.

Saladin, who was a KURD should have welcomed the Crusaders instead of fighting them.

The US is also not a very reliable ally, especially if there is no oil or business around to be gained.

how many time did koshers open the gates for the invaders in places they were allowed to stay?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77010220

Nor should we help. These people can all fight and die in the sand for all I care. We’re out. This was all on the Bush-Clinton-Obama era of stupidity.
Trump isn’t unreliable. He’s been saying that we shouldn’t be in the ME for a looong time. Long before he ran for President and he reiterated it many times during his campaign. It’s why many of us voted for him.
This mess is purposely driven to bankrupt our country.

Trump will change his colors soon enough. The U.S. will go all in after the war is broiling. Why? FF. Then, you'll have to make a choice, was it real or was it Trump 5d chess to get the U.S. into a war? Not worth arguing now. When it happens, then you'll see it.

Kobani, the city that resisted ISIS for months and paved the way for its defeat is now being shelled by Turkish army.

In Syria most of the job was done by SAA and Russia, true. Fall of Raqqa was more like a PR stunt. In most of the cases USAF was in the way of SAA and was even bombing them, giving air support to ISIS. But not because they would be coordinated with jihadi, they just did it to fuck with Assad and Russia... In Iraq it was different, America can take all the credits considering air support but on the ground most of the job was done by Iranian militia.

IMAGINARY BORDERS PROMOTE MANY EVILS

And yet! There was an East and a West Germany. Gotta have borders.
Funny how folks can infiltrate a country impose Boshevik ideologies on its people, get called out for being evil, made to leave and that country needs to be split up into 2 countries with a border.
But those same folks just get a yuuuge swathe of land the size of New Jersey in someone else’s backyard. And those people need to just accept it cause it’s fair.

Saddam wanted that region and the Kurds gone because

it was thought to be loaded with crude oil.

My guess is Turkey wants it for the same reason.

corrected, Iranians are Shia

which are in minority in the middle east

Between 10% and 13% are Shia Muslims, and 87% to 90% are Sunni Muslims. ... One of the most crucial differences between Shia and Sunni Muslims is the importance that the Shiites give to Ali, whom the Sunni do not recognize as being the prophet's rightful successor.

Interesting how one religious founder takes off and shortly thereafter there is almost always a schism.

Foxnews beating the war drums. Damn warmongers. Why are the Kurds still there if they defeated Isis? They could have went back up into the mountains but no they wanted to stay right in the middle of it and continue fighting. Why didn't the Kurds give the prisoners to Syria? Afghanistan? Iraq? Kill them?
