how many time did koshers open the gates for the invaders in places they were allowed to stay?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77010220

Practically none.

Other than the fact that Abraham had two women simultaneously, which gave rise to Isaac/Israel/Jevvs and Arabs/Ishmael/Islam, they are both independent religions.

Muslims will breed like rats, and expand with or without Jevvs.

Anyway Kurds were not doing the West a favor, they wanted US support for a country of their own. And America true to form did not help, since there was no business or oil to be acquired.

Trump is even more unreliable than the usual American, having thrown many people under the bus, including his two previous wives.

Thus the Kurds learned that the hard way!

.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78067706

Nor should we help. These people can all fight and die in the sand for all I care. We’re out. This was all on the Bush-Clinton-Obama era of stupidity.
Trump isn’t unreliable. He’s been saying that we shouldn’t be in the ME for a looong time. Long before he ran for President and he reiterated it many times during his campaign. It’s why many of us voted for him.
This mess is purposely driven to bankrupt our country.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1824169

Trump will change his colors soon enough. The U.S. will go all in after the war is broiling. Why? FF. Then, you'll have to make a choice, was it real or was it Trump 5d chess to get the U.S. into a war? Not worth arguing now. When it happens, then you'll see it.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 76869839

Did you watch the statement he made today? He said, WE ARE BANKRUPT.
We are not getting into wars in the ME anymore.
We just cannot afford it.
These nut jobs can have it.

Kurds have killed a lot of Christians in the past.

Saladin was a fanatical Jihadi Kurd, who fought the Crusaders and expanded Islam in the Middle-East..

They hated Christians and Europeans in the past.

Its not our duty to help them get a country and prevent opression by their Muslim Turkish "brothers".

they all are a problem, but only to each to other. Let the region burn down. My entire life, all I've heard is how each religious group has to kill the other. Israel included. Let them burn down together in their hate-fest of insanity.

whether you believe in Jehovah, Allah, Christ or whoever, the 'Gods' have permitted billions of children to suffer and die for millennia. It's a tough truth. No man or army can change the way of the world. It's fkn ruthless!

Gods are not in charge. We are. The writers of the US Constitution changed the way of the world. In fact, they fully expected the Constitutional principles they proclaimed to go world wide in short order. They would too, if the general population of these backward, superstitious, primitive, tribal, areas were provided an education, and a choice. Only the educated, and enlightened can provide that for them. It is our duty to end violent superstition, and primitive tribal warfare. By force if necessary. Just like the founders of the US did. Of the people, for the people, by the people. As it should be. Womens rights, freedom to criticize anything you feel is worthy of it, religious freedom, all of it, they are natural rights of every living human primate we should stand willing to fight for. For anyone who wishes to build that sort of society in their corner of the world. We should be doing that. Not funding a theocracy that crucifies teenagers, and has a slave market in the town square. That is the opposite of the mentality we should be perpetuating.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 72946100

Some very good points, but the underlined portion is something that you and I will not ever reconcile. It is fundamental. We disagree. In the most absolute of terms, our differences are meaningless. This world will burn down in war as has happened multiple times in history. It is inevitable. It's the way of the world. If you do not see this, then we can't agree on anything at all. It is self evident. Men have an insatiable desire for control. Religious and otherwise. This only means that there is a cycle that repeats. Peace to war to peace to war. It never ends. Now that three major countries all want control with powers of destruction beyond comprehension, ashes will be the result and humanity will emerge again....in peace. For a while.

Maybe I misunderstand you.

Real warriors don't have families. That's true, yet another topic. I'm glad the Continental Army wasn't afraid to fight. We'd probably all speak french and bow to a king. Yes, I think fighting for other peoples children to grow up safe and educated, when they certainly otherwise would not is noble, and worth the risk of loosing good lives. Especially when you consider the enemy and their capabilities. They wouldn't even have weapons if we didn't keep buying them for them. Look at the kill ratio of our most recent engagements over there.

I disagree, as you've already noticed. We will make it. It will be a different world on the other side, and it'll probably be some friction on the way, but I'm optimistic. I'm not sure another nuclear weapon being used will be tolerated. For the sake of our environment. Human primates are not important, but this ecological marvel is a very highly valued prize. The largest barrier is currency. That is what will be the most difficult to transition away from. We can do it though. We have the means and capability to feed, house, clothe, and educate every person on this planet. It is only our monetary system of governance and have/have not pyramid that stands in the way. Superstition and "faith" is a serious barrier as well, but that is easily solved with education. Primarily history.

Re: BREAKING: Syrian Kurds under bombardment from Turkish jets urgently request air support from U.S. and “No fly zone” to protect civilians.
Remember that Trump said niet to the Turkish invasion, maybe a US humanitarian operation to save the Kurds is next?

I agree. Christopher Hitchens was right about them. He spent time living with them over there. They are our brothers and sisters in arms against theocratic totalitarian ignorance. They are the current candidates for another Constitutional Republic with iterated natural rights for all citizens, and we should support them fully. They are the best hope for positive movement forward for Persia.

Keep in mind that we live in a warfare economy. War is good for the US. It generates GDP. If we don't go to war somewhere every couple years at least, the US economy will collapse. Check the numbers. Lockheed, Boeing, etc.

All the ones with US flags pay US taxes. Ever wonder why working for a "military contractor" is so popular now a days?

Yeah but its bankrupting us, Soon just the interest on our

debt will cost more then our entire military budget.

So its not really good for the economy. It is also diverting funds that could be used for infrastructure

which would create just as many jobs.
