Nothing bizarre about it. The relationship with the commie Kurd militias was built by Obama and Hillary. Firstly, the 'Kurds' are not a single nation. That's a modern projection of BS by various groups - mostly ones designated as terrorists - to get arms and training to attack the respective governments they hate. Iraqi Kurds, Syrian Kurds, and Iranian Kurds are as different as Mexicans are from Columbians and Panamanians. Sure, they all speak a similar language - but they each see themselves differently than the other 'Kurds' and there is no real 'Kurdistan' nationalism that encompasses them all into a single people. Everyone who knows these people knows this is the case. Trump pulling the US troops back is the right call. The Syrian Kurdish militias are terrorist Commies and are no friends of Americans.
