In Syria most of the job was done by SAA and Russia, true. Fall of Raqqa was more like a PR stunt. In most of the cases USAF was in the way of SAA and was even bombing them, giving air support to ISIS. But not because they would be coordinated with jihadi, they just did it to fuck with Assad and Russia... In Iraq it was different, America can take all the credits considering air support but on the ground most of the job was done by Iranian militia.
