Saddam wanted that region and the Kurds gone because
it was thought to be loaded with crude oil.
My guess is Turkey wants it for the same reason.

That would pay for healthcare for everybody in America who doesn't have it. If the US spent that much in Syria, our military must really, really suck Probably 2 billion.
