Message Subject If you hunt deer and eat venison you're going to want to stop after reading this

Macaque monkeys have successfully been infected with CWD in the lab which proves that the species barrier isn't very strong.

You can eat venison and probably be ok, SO FAR.

Then again, the disease can have an incubation period of decades.

Still, the only contraction has been topical, through fluid.

The article clearly states that cooking meat will not destroy it, which is a fact that is irrelevant. They want to scare you into not eating it.

I hate dishonest reporting.

Irrelevant? Cooking takes care of every other disease except this one. People should be aware.
You think they should hide the fact that cooking won't help? Wtf?

It's irrelevant to anything regarding transmission.

If you can't see the spin the article is weaving, I can't help you.

Have a McNugget or something.

What you don't seem to be getting is that this CWD prion deer disease is not only spread by topical contact with nervous system fluid through the brains and spinal cord as happened on a mass scale with English cattle, it's infiltrated through ALL THE MEAT.

Get it?

You cannot have a carefully prepared, perfectly clean cut of venison without risking your life and the lives of your family, unless you have it tested first and it comes out clean.

Have a prion burger or something.

You don't care about the transmission to thousands or millions of PEOPLE and having their brains subsequently destroyed, apparently.

All you care about is your dislike of any second thoughts about wildlife hunting because of your political agenda.
Please verify you're human:
