Why didn't that woman slap him, especially when he was sniffing up on her daughter?

I have been wondering about that since I saw the footage in the Senate chamber of him sniffing various little girls, adolescents, and grown women at swearing in ceremonies and such. Why doesn't someone publicly humiliate him by calling him out loudly, in some fashion, including a firm slap, for that kind of behavior? I think that the public would understand. They're probably warned ahead of time not to make a scene, that Uncle Joe is just a harmless old man who doesn't mean anything by it. So just indulge him. Oh, and if they SHOULD decide to make a scene, well, things won't go so well for them, or their spouse in the new job. Maybe, but someone should have done the right thing regardless. Biden would have never recovered politically from it, and perhaps he would have quit doing it. It's not harmless to let him treat kids and adolescents like that. If they don't want to make a scene over themselves, that's one thing, but someone should have stuck up for the children and teens.
